What I dont understand is where are those three waves that you list as might not get US release? They have to have been made in the numbers that Jazwares expected to sell to Target and WalMart? No idea. My guess is they are in a warehouse or shipping cargo container somewhere. The reason I say might not be released is because the Slone wave was suppose to be out last summer or so and with how many figures we know about, I am just not sure if they all will release. If they don't release then I am sure they will drop at Ross.

I am also going off the fact that Jason said that Target has salvaged the Slone wave making it very difficult for those figures to release there.

Everything is confusing and up in the air. The line must still be going? Why produce so many figures if they didn't want to get them out. I am sure they are loosing money by those waves not hitting stores.

Jazwares did really well releasing figures in 2020 and 2021, maybe this is their shipping crisis. I don't know. Just lots of guesses. Not sure if we will ever really know the answer.

Would be a dam shame if those Foundation sets didn't get release. I have to be honest here in the UK smyths and entertainment toy shop used to carry lots of Fortnite stuff but they been reducing it in the last months.

I would imagine, from Jazware's perspective, it's already bought and paid for so they're not the ones taking the loss. The department stores who bought it and can't get it on the shelf are the ones taking the hit and offloading them, from their distribution centers, to discount retailers.

So something weird happened today: we got the first Master Grade wave in today, but it didn't scan as salvage but rather the current DCPI (which would be what the second and third wave would be listed under). Gives some hope that some older figures may still be on the way.

Coincidentally, we have a fresh case coming in on Monday. Probably more of the same winter-themed figures, but you never know.

Were those Master Grade figures also salvaged? I hope that comes true, that would be great.

They were. At one point I picked them up for $6 before they were sent off with the rest of the toy clearance. Now they're back at the $22.99 price point.

I'm just gonna say, Target does weird things these days.

Such as? A lot of the time, things like this are a result of receiving or finding freight that they were unaware of (ie lost in transit, overproduction, overpurchase). It's also possible that Jazwares shipped old freight in lieu of new freight or just mixed up pallets/cases. It's bizarre, but it happens more often than you would think, especially given how the pandemic severely effected every facet of retail. We're still playing catch-up in every department.
