Here's an early look at a very cool new Tech Pack squad mode set that popped up in China. It was factory fresh (production date of Dec 2022 on the box) and apparently this isn't quite exactly the final version. If you want a closer look at the loose figures, they're on my Instagram.

Oh man that's super cool. I know I just said I don't go for the banana shaped stuff but this one has some promise. Thanks for sharing that.

The new knee articulation will take some getting used to, but I like the streamlined look.

To channel Dr Strangelove, you need to figure out how to stop worrying and love the banana. :P

I never thought I needed an anthromorphized banana, but the Peely figures just bring a smile to my face every time I see them on my shelf.

This P33ly is different though from earlier versions of Peely, in that it seems to be a regular human body with just a banana head. The head can turn around. So, I'm wondering if it's like say Dark Voyager's helmet, where if you pop it off there's a regular head ball joint underneath.

Regardless, if you really didn't like the banana, I reckon once the banana head is off, the figure would look good with any other head (though it might take some work if there is no ball joint underneath).

Lot of old product in that pic, though. Just today, I picked up two of those Agent Jonesey for less than $3 each and that Master Grade figure for $10, so there's plenty of room for companies to change up displays and aisle space.

And in typing that I realized it's been 6 months since we got the last regular wave of figures. Ready for the drought to be over.
