Just a question. Do you like limited edition figures? Like the recent master key. Me I personally do not. I enjoy collecting the solo mode fortnite figures but the joy is taken away when they make figures like this.thats My personal opinion. Let me know what you think

I like the alternate heads as a pack-in. I don't get why that makes them a limited edition, though. And it doesn't make much sense for characters that a lot of people would want.

What exactly does 'limited edition' mean towards his availability? That's the only issue that matters, imho.

Went back and picked up that Fishstick for a custom. Also got a lead on Master Key after talking to the manager and getting him to reserve one when/if it shows up. He said that Master Key was in the system and scheduled to ship in a few weeks, but the other figures that were in that same case at Target aren't; this goes back to my theory that Master Key might have been a Target-exclusive and that Fishstick is the replacement figure for non-Target stores.

However, GameStop had Fishstick prior to the most recent wave showing up, so I either missed that case completely when it showed up or I'm just wildly off in my theory. They did put out a new one when the rest of the case was put out, and the numbering suggests he should have been in that wave, so maybe it's a coincidence or Master Key is just packed in fewer cases based on his LE status.

That'd be great, or even just case box breakdown info like this is good to know. That's interesting that of the figures to double-up, they went with Ragnarok, a figure that's on its third release with a fourth upcoming. I don't know, maybe he's a super popular character.

Maybe? To me, it seemed like a way to ship out extra product they had already made. What's really dumb is that they didn't use it as an opportunity to just do another color variant of him or another character altogether. That Molten Ragnarok looks freaking amazing, but there are loads of other possibilities for him or literally any other figure.

As someone who enjoys the figures but has never played the game, the idea of issuing older characters in different skins as a way of reusing bucks seems like a no-brainer. If they were going to reissue older figures, then why not figures that were part of exclusive packs like Sentinel (white version), Dark Voyager (Eternal Voyager), or X-Lord (Mad Max-looking version)? Just so many possibilities out there to not resort to potential peg-warmers.
