. LoL I’m not even sure how to answer that. We have nice military fantasy action figures. I like Joy Toy and MTF but they aren’t GI Joe. It’s the character and the world that I love about GI Joe. But yeah Joy Toy and MTF are real cool, but I love official Joes if that makes sense.

I get what you mean. The lore is a big selling point. There's something about having that banner. Of all the Marauder figures I have the ones I connect with most are those made in the image of preexisting characters and not those of my own design. On the other hand the high quality figures JoyToy and PGV have recently put out has inspired more imaginative story telling than modern era Joes ever have.

Yeah you explained my thoughts better than I did. I really enjoy what Joy Toy and PGV are doing. I prefer their stuff over MTF though I like MTF. JoyToy for me really does a better job carrying on the spirit of Joe. MTF is cool but pretty bland when it comes to lore or inspiration for me.

in my view, Marauder's "geared-up" figures are in many instances better realizations of the G.I. Joes that they homage than the Joes themselves. On the other hand, JoyToy and Planet Green Valley do nothing for me.

As someone who has very little time to deal with assembling models or painting, or just "hobbying" in general. I find JoyToy to be the better value in money and time. Marauder is great for what it is and I wish I had the time and skills to go full boar into the customization aspect. But for the WW2 figures JoyToy I don't have to worry about messing with water slides, I can just take them out and start playing and setting up scenes.

For me, At this point everything is fodder . MTF, casts, Joy toy and Joes Included.

We need néw. Hasbro Branded , new. About as far away from Jazwares as we can get it.

Son of a bitch! I hate Hasbro, if it weren't for GI Joe and Black Series I would never buy their products again. I kept passing on the Jazwares' stuff because I thought I could get it later. Damn it.
