I've eschewed zombies thus far, but these guys have tons of character.
I know they're supposed to be zombies, but I look at these guys and see the "failed" outcomes of supersoldier experiments. A combination of mutation and battle damage. Mutations from the experiment. Battle damage from when lab personnel tried to terminate the experiment. The blue stuff being a McGuffin keeping these guys from dying. That's why I was thinking about doing floor plans in CAD. I have a volume that I can fill, but don't know how many kits it may take. What area's or rooms should essential? Mecha bay for staging and repair Armory Monitor/Control/Overwatch room Medbay Combatant staging area? Garage/vehicle bay? I guess I should decide if it should be Earth or Space based. |

That's a chunk of plastic! It feels like it's been a while since anyone has put out a corpulent 1:18 figure. The Chinese water line had one. Not sure if AWOK deluxe figures really count. I suppose the Jurassic Park Dennis Nedry, but he's almost svelt compared to this one. This mostly makes me harken back to the X-Men Origins Blob.

I agree with your choices. Those are essential. I was all in, but am avoiding the new tower (although I love the ladders) and last one or two that were announced.
The repair bay, weapons depot, med bay, computer bay, staging area, and vehicle bay are for sure needed. I could see a jail cell being essential as well. The problem I run into is that if you make it too deep, it’s too dark or too deep to be useful for me. It’d that’s the case, then I have to go higher, but that runs into its own issues. Another reason to draft it out is help figure out where to place LED lighting. Quote:
These look great and like many others, looking forward to the larger buck. Somehow clean it up to make kingpin?
I am all for varying degrees of sizes for bucks, but I understand that’s super expensive for companies. I don’t know why I’ve always wanted a fat figure, but I have. The helmet was blue and had a blue canister that plugged into the back. The motif is more "escaped lab rat" than "just crawled out ofvthe grave" zombie. |

That's something I'll have to consider too. I have both 18"x36" and 24"x48" shelves. It would suck to put a base together only to find out my arms are too big to place figures in the back. A plywood superstructure would allow me to anchor the build kit pieces for taller builds because the kits as is don't seem very robust.
Another reason to draft it out is help figure out where to place LED lighting. Or the Blob from the Brotherhood of Mutants. Out of package he looks like the typical Walmart shopper. The helmet was blue and had a blue canister that plugged into the back. The motif is more "escaped lab rat" than "just crawled out ofvthe grave" zombie. The Blob would be another great custom. Walmart shopper, ouch. Lol. There’s a member on here that will get pretty upset if he saw that. He went after myself and someone else when we were debating whether or not Walmart has a different demographic shopper vs Target. |

Ha! That's store loyalty there. You could extend that argument to Costco vs Sam's Club as well. There's definitely a difference in demographics. There's reasons why Target and Costco are known for their "hot moms in yoga pants Saturday's"

If tunghori can smuggle out star wars toys from the hasbro factory then surely a lot of china based sellers will be able to sell this abroad. There is too much hype not to make money off of these.
