They appear to be a little smaller. I thought most of the recent Joy Toy stuff was almost to scale with MTF. So I don’t know if:

1. MTF WW2 scales large
2. Joy Toy WW2 scales small
3. I was wrong and Joy Toy has always been smaller.

Heads looks a little small. I imagine the JoyToys would look ok with MTF heads and work as shorter soldiers if one was inclined to mix lines.

I sold my ww2 German MTF to pay for these guys and now that they’ve arrived, no regrets. There’s just something slightly doofy about the mtf proportions and heads, and they really don’t pose well, whereas these Joytoy Germans are oozing character, pose great, and to me just feel more real. That said their new wrist articulation has more range but the hands can pop off if you’re not being careful which wasn’t a problem before.. but it does come in handy to accurately hold the rifles.

Here’s a quick pose setup, out of the box. Don’t need to whittle the arms to get more of an angle, the legs just bend smooth but hold well without the harsh ratcheting of mtf legs, etc.
