Locker Toys has both runs of this up for preorder, cheaper than BBTS. I am going to wait for the first batch, and then order the 2nd batch if I like the first.

Saw these a few weeks ago on BBTS.
Does anyone know the story that goes with these? They are pretty cool and they all have names so I was wondering if they had some stories like Acid Rain does.

These look neat. I can't wait to see some in hand pics soon. Although looking at the figure descriptions on BBTS, they are slightly larger than Acid Rain's 1/25 scale line.

Ok, I took a shot at the only available figure from BBTS. At $16.99 there wasn't much to lose.

Well, except for the $16.99.

Just realize that the figure is 1/24 scale. Around 3" tall; instead of, 4".

I know. The hard part is that there doesn't seem to be any consistency at this scale. BBTS lists this line as 1:25th, but the same figures are on ebay as 1:27, and the Acid Rain B2Five line is listed as 1:28 so I don't know just how compatible everything is.

I don't think the 1/18 scale figures have made it to any customer hands, yet. I just see sites re-posting promo pics. There is a bit of controversy over Joy Toy stealing designs from other artists.

The company is from mainland China. They get away with it because Ip protection is VERY VERY weak there. Basically it works like gang logic there. If you don't know anyone with power, it doesn't matter what the law says, it doesn't apply, because if they know someone with power, you just instantly lose your case for no reason. (Cause corruption, yes)

You can't enforce copyright law unless you bribe the right official or judge, or know the right guy. Actually criminal law works in a similar way there, if you're rich and you know someone powerful, you're pretty much untouchable on mainland China.

I'm talking, you butchered someone on the street and you're free to go untouchable. No exaggeration, for example, this man almost got his wife off of murder charges for example. Only the scrutiny of the U.S. consulate got him in trouble.

I have a few of the 1/24 scale figures. they're pretty cool, lots of articulation and gear to glue on, sort of like mtf. I have 2 mechs as well
