Listen, I love Marauder and co, but for design complexity and articulation, these JoyToy figs are indisputably better. For customization, and if you prefer limbs that don't pop off too easily, Marauder has the hand up. Plastic density is different, both sturdy, but increased weight makes standing JoyToy figures easier without a stand. For me, aesthetics and playability are key, and posing JoyToy is so nice, I give them the edge, but it doesn't mean I can't love both lines. |

I love both I still give MTF an edge because I have had JT figures break while putting on accessories but that said each release does seem to get better qc wise. But Marauder has been quality from day one. But yes as far as possibility JT wins that and JT look so dang good too

The only break I have had on Joy Toy was Russian Victor’s shoulder circle broke. Now he has a wrong color shoulder joint from a Crossfire fig that had an extra.

Mine were all on the Calvary set. Hip joints and knee joints while trying to put on those leg holsters and armor even after heating the figures.

Huh, mine all slipped on like butter when heated.
What's the usual time from pictures to retail so far on JoyToy? Like when do we see these new guys that were just posted? |

From final figure/set configuration to delivery is about four to six months. About a year to a year and a half from when the first development photos/videos can be found online. They are turning things out faster, and now that Joy Toy has their own official Facebook account, we see more early shots.

Quality wise, MTF is superior. Not just the plastic, but also the paint applications. Fit and finish is better on MTF. They did a good job on selection of the plastic. Joy Toy's material keeps off gassing.
The Joy Toy has better articulation out of the box, but you can always trim out the elbows on your MTF if you want similar articulation. I find the MTF articulation is acceptable and don't do extra trimming. Regarding the aesthetics, the Joy Toy offer gear in future combat look that MTF just doesn't do. So they do have that going for them. Their early helmets and chest armor is the best thing they have done. For me, I steal all the components off my JoyToy figures, and put them on MTF figures. I pulled a couple of the cybernetic arms off the Joy Toy figures and put them on my MTF figures as well. |

Yeah I love both lines and the best part is the look great with each other as well as Joe, Boss Fight and Dime Store Novel and hopefully soon Eagle Force! (And some Fortnite)
I have absolutely loved being able to swap parts on all of these lines to make new Joes and Cobras as well as all new factions. I’d say 4” is alive and well, it appears to only be Hasbro that has a problem with them. True a lot of other companies do 6” but they started that when Hasbro was doing 4” and that made their product different |

Joy Toy excels at personality right out of the box which I like. Maurader can be made to resemble a more unique individual as evidenced by their Joe kits they offered for a while. I generally find Marauder to be fairly generic.
