Yeah, I can't get how 'I have a Masters in Economics so I can shop smarter' is the most pathetic thing I've ever seen somebody brag about. I know some of you love Warhammer, but JoyToy just dropped a ton of figures that resemble their pre Warhammer heyday. Even have a 1/18 post apocalyptic Corgi coming! Lol. Locker Toys has them up for preorder as do a few other Asian based etailers. They have a 7 pack of “army” builders that’s cool. There’s a crazy frogman that’s like a POC EEL on steroids.

I just preordered 6 of the 7 figures in their Battle for the Stars Yearly Army Builder set. They're currently $19.99 on BBTS which is a little bit less than when I checked Locker Toys. I'm going to keep an eye on AliExpress to be sure they're not significantly cheaper there in a few weeks or so.

I definitely got hit by the Warhammer 40K bug. I've been dumping buckets of money at JoyToy's feet since October. This might be the toy line of the century -- at least for me. And I had no prior interest in 40K as an IP.

I'm glad I can skip the new non-WH stuff. A lot of re-used parts with way less deco. Good for customizers, though. Not feeling the frogman or the wasteland scavengers, but I might warm up to them later.

Gundamit/ShowZ is another good place to get JoyToy.

The new figures are looking good. I like the army builder concept. Some cheap figures for us and a quick cash infusion for JoyToy sounds like a win-win situation. I hope this becomes an annual thing with the hope that future offerings may include more women and maintenance/mechanic folks.

The new scavengers are excellent. They remind me of some Acid Rain figures without Acid Rain prices.

Its a very impressive line. Ive not jumped in because of price but definitely impressive. Cant imagine what Id do if JoyToy ever got a license I love. Wish they would have gotten the GI Joe license instead of Hiya….on second thought I might not have been able to afford that! Lol!
