While snooping around on another toy based site, I came across pictures for an upcoming DC release of figures entitled "DC Armory".
Destro, you'll understand why I'm posting a re-direct to the island once you see where the pictures are based out of http://www.cobraisland.com/forums/sh...9843#post29843 Click on that link, to be re-directed to ANOTHER link with pictures of what I'm talking about. As I said on the Island...I've never been a big comic figure collector...but these are pretty damn sweet! |

Destro, do you know anything about "DC Armory"?
Is it a story line? Or are these figures based on a comic book representation? Are they new all together? |

DC toys are outside my circle of connections in Asia. I have no clue.

The two women in the black armor are Supergirl and Powergirl from the Supergirl: Candor trade paperback. I don't know what they called themselves in that armor other than one, maybe Powergirl, called herself Nightwing. I don't know where the Batman and Aquaman come from. I don't read many comics outside of X-Men and the occasional trade so I can't add anymore info on the figures.

The Batman armor I believe is from a storyline from last year, but he briefly used it in one issue. I wonder if it comes with a helmet(helmet was a batmask with no mouth and 2 red eye pieces).
Are those ball jointed legs I see on Batman? |

I believe they are. These figures look to be well constructed, and nice to look at.
I might have to pick up bats. |

There is a pre-order up at BBTS for the set. The other figure is named Flamebird. Here is a link.

Thanks, death!
Wow, I have a lot of comic catching-up to do. When the heck did Nightwing become female? Was the operation a success? lol |
