Just a thread to discuss what you want to see out of the Marauder RPG!

1- Keep the 'Marauder Task Force' team a vague concept. For some, it may be a sort of GI Joe team of America's Elite 'best of the best' working in a covert team. For another, it may be an international team of multiple nations. Someone else may see them as a sort of 'Expendables' team of mercenary good-guys. Others may see a shady black ops team funded with slush funds from various power brokers, asking no questions and conducting some very unsettling operations. Overall, the idea is to do what the Marauder Task Force did from the start- give us a chance to make what we want.

2- Have rules for things other than humans. Aliens, Zombies, Demons, Vampires, Werewolves, Mutants... all sorts of threats from the supernatural and unknown. Players could even use the Marauder Task Force as a sort of XCOM meets BPRD unit that encounters the things people don't want to believe in... and deals with them.

3- Have body parts capable of being targeted/damaged in combat. This, for one, incentivizes using armor on just more than your torso (although, the torso is more likely to be hit than any other part of your body). Plus, it could make 'zombies' more of a threat- because you gotta hit them in the head! Give players a reason to wear a brain-bucket!

4- Be SNEAKY and give us all the tools we need to make Cobra and Joe troops and characters without using name brands or anything like that. Sure, you can't say 'Cobra Viper'... but you could easily make a rule/gear list for troops that fit the same description.
