These turned out really great. Now, this could be New Toy Syndrome but I really, really like these. The quality on these is top notch. Great paint apps, sturdy construction. I didn't load all the figures with their accessories but you can probably get the idea between my pics and the promo images. So, starting with the packaging(above) these are 'collector friendly' similar to Boss Fight's packaging, although unlike Boss Fight there is tape closing the bubble to the card. Once you cut that though you can take the card out and put it back. Very nice. The first thing that (literally) pops out when you open these is a paper sheet indicating how best to put the accessories onto the figure. Each figure has a unique instruction sheet. The sheet warns to heat the joints if you're going to pull the figure limbs out and that's a good idea, although frankly I was able to do it with strong pulls. The ankle and wrists are super small pegs so it's a bit harrowing at first but it's similar to pulling apart Boss Fight Studio's figures. But it's much easier to do after heating if only to spare your fingers the ache. Here's an exploded figure to show you what you can pull apart.* *I didn't realize when I shot this that the knees ALSO come apart in the flesh legs(not the pants legs). This makes putting on the accessories a ton easier. The nude figures actually had tighter pegs than the painted figures. Definitely needed to heat the nude to pull it apart. In any case these are a kitbasher's dream. These are designed to easily swap parts. The articulation is an interesting hybrid of H.A.C.K.S. and MTF. Same style ankles, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck as H.A.C.K.S. Waist has a peg like the female Valkyrie, although it doesn't fit(it could be modified to fit). Here's a pic showing a headswap between a H.A.C.K.S. and one of the PGV nudes. Also showing the difference between the bodies. Note that the head pegs size isn't an exact match between the two lines. The PGV head is pretty wobbly on the H.A.C.K.S. body and the H.A.C.K.S. head has a noticeable gap on the PGV body. Here's a comparison with a bunch of other female figures, from L to R we have ZombieLab, Suited Female MTF, PGV, Valkyrie MTF, H.A.C.K.S., GI Joe Scarlett. My favorite figures are Virginie(shorts and green tank top) and the Combat Uniform(flight suit). The pants leg figures have peg holes on their legs instead of the loops that you have to slide up the legs. Also their knees don't pull apart like the bare skinned leg figures. Virginie's shorts are great, they actually have a cut where they meet the leg so you could theoretically swap out her legs. Mind Controller(sports bra/pants robot head), the helmet fits over the included balaclava head. The accessories are all great. The long guns are AMAZING. Best guns I've seen in this scale. The accessories and figures have great paint apps including washes. Now, there are some negatives. First the skin tone on the nude figures, it all matches except the hip portion. This seems to be a harder plastic. Second the card pictures of the characters show the figures wearing their neck scarves under their tactical vests and you can't do that. I can't even get it to fit over the tac vest when they're wearing it - the head ball doesn't reach the neck hole. The scarves fit fine without the tac vest. Third the vests have the same problem as Marauders', which is that they have difficulty pegging closed once on the figure. It's doable but it's a pain. So I bring those up but they're not big deals IMO, but trying to be balanced. So overall I am blown away by how good these are. I'd say they're the best female figures out right now. They come across like Wei Weihua is a perfectionist who really studied what worked and what didn't in other companies' figures. Imagine Boss Fight quality and kitbash-ability with some of the artistic flourish of Acid Rain. I like some better than others(feel no need to get more of the schoolgirls). Hopefully these can be consistently in stock like Boss Fight and Marauders, because I'd really like to pick up a few more of these. |

bluesparrow,
Thanks for the pics and critique! Congrats on receiving a Virginie figure as originally described! That is my biggest fear with these figures, that since I ordered a Mind-Controller, Virginie and School Girl Armed Amy that I'll get a Virginie figure with Mind-Controller arms and Amy legs. Grrrr. Having messaged a couple of different Tankers who have received shipping notices, it looks to me (presumption not fact) that they are shipping the "All Six" orders first. At least one Tanker had an order number placed well after my order. The difference was he ordered all six and I ordered four. One question I have for you, and you may not have tried it yet, but how well does the PGV gear fit MTF Valkyrie torsos and vice versa? More pics would be awesome! We are living this PGV experience through your pictures now until our orders arrive. LOL! Although, just from looking, I don't think it'll fit, but I am really curious as to how the Marauder's ball cap fits Virginie's head? I think this head sculpt is ambiguous enough on ethnicity to make a nice Lady Jaye. Jason

Bluesparrow, thank you for your in depth review!
This is so good to hear very positive feedback on a new & exciting line & a very fair assessment on your part on all fronts! I salute you! I was glad to finally see someone put a painted head on the nude figure to make sure the skin tones matched as it is very hard to tell in photos when they are not together (even if it is assumed.) I very much look forward to getting these & am so glad to see they exceeded expectations & are finally trickling out! Thanks again! Last edited by Steel Brigade; 08-30-2019 at 01:52 PM.. |

BFS Amazon's chest armor didn't fit the Mind Controller body though. |

Yeah I'm not sure how widespread the variants will be. It'd suck to get that version if you didn't want it but with the swappable parts if you picked up a nude or one of the basics down the line you could end up with the figure you wanted and it'd look like she came that way. Although then it sucks to have to pick up another figure(though that's how it rolls sometimes).
OK good questions and I'll take some more more pics tonight after work. To spare you the suspense though I tried both of these out and the ball cap fits perfectly on the Virginie head and she looks really cute. Tried a PGV tac vest on the Valkyrie basic and the Boss Fight nude and it fit well on both. Which is good because I have a few extra ones I wasn't going to use with their included PGV figures. Didn't have a Marauders female vest handy but will try tonight. BFS Amazon's chest armor didn't fit the Mind Controller body though. Jason |

So far, I've only opened my Blue Wing combat uniform figure. Only real issue is the vest is a little bulky for true aiming down the sight posing. I was able to get the smaller scarf piece on over the vest. The vest and rifle works well on a MTF Val. I tried the Val utility and high vest on the flight suit figure. The waist to hip flair makes it impossible to close either vest.
EDIT: Be careful with the forward grips on the rifles. They are glued on, not part of the mold. I ended up snapping off the grip on the Mind Controller rifle.
