Okay besides the crazy oil prices...what other materials can action figures be made of. I am getting tired of the crappy prices of figures going up every year. The 'bro is really ripping us off.

Prices really arent that different. Deluxe and Voyager size TFs are the same price they were 11 years ago. Joes 2 packs were 8 dollars and 80's Joes were 2.99 in most places, so thats only a dollar in 20+ years. Its the liscensed ones like Marvel and SW that seem to go up but thats cause of liscensing fees. Star Wars has only went up 2 dollars since 95 which isnt too outragous plus the ones coming out today are far superior to the 95 wave.

All very true, except on the Joe front. We don't get 2 packs now, we get single packs for $5.99 ok, so that's only a $3 increase, so what? well this is where it gets crazy in my book:

Buying from Retail, I have no problem with the $5.99, it does suck, but I can deal. However paying $5.99 at the SOURCE (Which is what DTC was touted as being, "Direct To Consumers") I have an issue. Because I expect there to be an increase in the price of a toy a store sales (They need to make a profit) but when the middle man is cut out, isn't the saving supposed to go on to the buyer!? (That's what all the shady used car salesmen say ) So where Hasbro would sell a figure for say $2-3 to a store and the store would sell it for say $5-6, Hasbro sells toys for $5-6 and gets ALL the profit. I'm sure they'll be doing the same with the 25th figures (course it could be because of this very rant that they even had the money to make the 25th figures)

Plastic is made from OIL - Then transported by a Boat using OIL -Then Driven to a warehouse Using OIL - Then driven to a Store using OIL - Then you drive to the store using OIL.

Its only going to get worse. I think the USA and the rest of the world are in for a wake-up-call and real soon. When Gas hits $4.00 a gallon the shit is going to hit the fan. Most people can't afford $3.00, wait for it!

Consider yourself lucky. In Canada a Commando S6 figure is 20.99 and solider wave is 15.99.

I thought this was because of the Canadian dollar, but the prices never have dropped since they have become more even.
