As for the waves thing...you can still buy any MTF figure type ever made from the store (unless they are sold through, but MJ does restock). Conversely, Bossfight retires their waves almost instantly (5th question down). They made it, it sold through, it's gone. I realize Zombie Labs isn't BFS, but it remains to be seen how they will handle the restocking of waves. Until I see otherwise I'm assuming waves will be retired. It's not the wave releases that bother me, it's the rapid retirement. I love BFS sculpting, I just don't care for their production and distribution practices.

I'd prefer BF to keep stock as well. It makes me much more reluctant to customize when I know I might not be able to get a new Myrmidon if I don't like how my chopjob turns out. My understanding is that ZL will be stocking things in their store, which I think I read in the comments section on the kickstarter. It seems they already have a popular storefront through which they sell other people's toys.

Devil? Oh yeah, I forgot. You think I'm the bad guy because I disagree with you.

He had suits planned. As in...he was planning to do them. He only stopped, as far as we know, because of Zombie Labs and who? Zica? Whoever it is that has a suit planned for a 2018 (I think) KS. And possibly also because people who wouldn't stop complaining about it and how "nobody" wants suits. I don't know how much sway that lot had. But publicly it was said that the other planned kicks were the reason a suit buck was canned from the upcoming dog/exo-suit KS.

As for stand-alone. Crap man, it's been covered in discussion before. There is a LOT of room for modularity with a slacks and button-down buck. If you haven't read it or don't remember it I can try to find the posts.
It's like asking a prospector who just struck gold to spend time looking for a silver mine. Everything has opportunity cost. The EF Monster Force and Heroes and Villains Kickstarters are really creative ways to give people like you what you've been asking for while having enough sizzle to attract those of us that are bored by civilians. I really don't see why you would turn your nose up at them. I was not being snarky when I suggested that you should put you time and money where your mouth is and get a Kickstarter going if you really feel that strongly about it. It's a viable option if you're really that passionate. Or you can buy a Men's Warehouse or something. Okay, now that was snarky. I apologize. |

Boss fight Studios designs Marauder Task Force and Eagle Force, Zica Toys, the upcoming Monster and Villains lines.
NO ONE wants to piss off Bossfight, their design staff and modular bodies are INTEGRAL to many of these other kickstarter's even existing. I would not be surprised if almost every 1:18 Kickstarter project that doesn't have their name actually contracted designs from them and they were somehow involved. |

Currently at $153,131.00.
According to my math. If they reach $155,000.00 which I don't see how they wont. $550 Divided by 29 figures comes out to $18.97 a figure, shipped. Not bad at all. And that does not include the heads. I wish we could hit the $180,000.00. The figure price would drop to $16.67 each, shipped once again not including the heads. 44 Hours to go If they hit $170,000 We are looking at 31 Figures at 17.75 Each not including the heads. 19 Civilians (4 After the Battle) 12 Zombies My offer still stands. If any All-In backers are interested in dumping Zombies at or near the All-In price when they come in PM me to make arrangements beforehand. I would be interested in Zombie 4591 Zombie 425 Zombie 001 Zombie 002 Zombie 459 (48 Hours Later) Zombie 007

I'm already All-In, but like some of the others on the board, I'd be down to buy zombies from other people's All-In pledges that just wanted the civilians @ the better price point. Zombie 003 & Zombie 004 in particular as no one seems to love on them, but also 007 and 001 since those other four zombie businessmen don't appear to be on the unlock trajectory anymore. :( |

I'd take some zombies at the all in price. Was maybe thinking about adding a 5 pack onto my pledge. Would much rather pay someone here the $140 and get 7-8 (if we unlock 009, the price goes down to like $16 each I believe) zombies instead.
Really want: 425 004 005 Less important: 003 007 008 009 The various 451s The only thing is I'm not sure I'd want to pay a third party for the figures until after they've shipped. I really don't think anyone will have a problem selling these for $16-20 when they ship. |
