If I hadn’t gone All In with the express purpose of using them all for customs, I’d have more reservations about the line. I don’t care about the packaging either. I threw all but four away, just keeping a few for posterity. I also would have rather had no packaging. Then maybe I’d have gotten the full order all at once.
As it is, they were useful for exactly what I wanted them for: making every incarnation of Nathan Drake that I could, and a solid Indiana Jones and James Bond. For that I’ll always be grateful to Zombie Labs.

This has got to be the the most smug face ever to be on an action figure. You can visually see him thinking " Wait till she see's my Ferrari"

I may be awful at customizing - but I'm doing much the same - which leather Jacket for Indy?

Edit: I actually just looked at the 4.5” Disney Indy and compared it to the ZL figure I’m going to use, and it looks like it would scale exactly how I’d want it to. It would be a decent amount of work, but not as much of a hassle and annoyance as shrinking a jacket.

I've got 1 jacket too small in the Indy one and then played around with Thunderstrike but its just too big in my opinion.
Might just stick with too small and make it a running gag. Quote:
I just did jacketless Indy for now. The Hasbro jacked are all too small. I started work on shrinking the jacket from the old 7” Disney exclusive Indy, but I did it before I had them to prepare and it’s still a bit smaller than I want. I have to redo it, but I just haven’t had the time yet.

I'm also unhappy with the inclusion of boxes. I can understand carding Joes and the like that are continuations of a long-standing line that some people collect MOC, but that's wasted money on these KS projects to my mind. The paint washes on these seem to be a bad step. I don't care for the look of them and it sure sounds like that's a part of the problem in terms of the articulation and paint rub too. That being said, I'm still looking forward to receiving my shipment. I got them primarily because I was looking for customizing parts, since I have more fun chopping these things up and combining them into my idealized forms of different figures than I do actually just putting toys on the shelf as is. I rarely leave a figure unaltered. The secondary reason I bought in is because I like supporting novel ideas in this scale and want to see all sorts of unusual projects like this take off. I suppose in the end, that makes these flawed products acceptable for my purposes. Not perfect, but not wasted either. |

I think you can go on their website & have them deliver kind of like an electronic signature?

Indy’s jacket is so specific, I couldn’t imagine just throwing something similar on him and calling it a day. Personally, I just wouldn’t be happy with it.

I guess I'm one of the few that really like these (for the kickstarter price). I wanted a bunch of zombies in 1/18th scale and wasn't disappointed. I've been posting pictures on Flickr and am about half way through the figures so far.
