Galoob (Which is no more) had a property called "Golden Girl and the Guardians of the Gemstone". I didn't have the figures, but I had the cool evil-looking Dragon Queen horse and the board game.

"Mangalords"
Mangalords came out around the time of Dungeons and Dragons toys. They were squishy action figures that you could rip apart and put back together again. An accessory of the line was a tank/pit that you filled with soapy water and lowered the figures into. Once the figures (that had been ripped apart) were dipped into the soapy water, the "wounds" would "heal" and you could not tell they figure had been ripped apart. There were about 5 figures in the line. Each one came with an egg kind of thing to keep them in because if you let them sit out they got easily dirty (Hair, Dirt, ect..) They were complete garbage. When ripped apart they were NEVER even playable again. They were merely ratty pieces of the previous figure. I always thought it was the weirdest concept. Action figures you destroyed ON PURPOSE, as part of the concept. So basically, the point was to turn your figure to a useless piece of shit. |

Here's another one for you guys:
Dougram basically a Japanese import that didn't make it on it's own. The designs were used in Robotech's Defenders line of models and Battletech's minitures They were metal bodies with removable plastic armor, weapons and extra an hand. They have articulation at the waist, shoulders, biceps, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles Here's a pic with a Joe to show the scale |

I don't believe Tacky Stretchoid Warriors have been mentioned yet. I didn't see anyone bring up Bone Age either. I used to really want some Bone Age toys but I never got any. I did have the stretchy warriors though, and until very recently still had pieces of one.
