Have any of you picked up the True Heroes Black Hawk Helicopter at Toys R Us? I'm usually not one to mix brands but this thing has been tempting me for months. It doesn't have much detail but for $24.99 I'm thinking it might look really cool on my FLAGG.
If anybody has it...thumbs up or thumbs down? Is it compatible with the 25th sized figures?

I check it out all the time when I hit up TRU... I think with some customizing, it would be a great addition to any Joe collector's collection.

My thoughts exactly..I'm thinking with some Joe stickers it might work.

That other helicopter (the cargo one) doesn't look so bad, either...

Yeah, but it looks too kiddie for my tastes...but with what I've seen with the new Joe vehicles coming out maybe it will fit right in

Just needs a little re-tooling. I visualized a diorama of a squad of Para-Vipers leaping from the helicopters flaming wreckage...

I'm a big fan of the True Heroes/Soldier Force stuff from TRU. I've read some Tankers refer to that line as "Chap Mei" so I really don't know what to call it. However, I can tell you that the "Navy SEAL Boat" from that line is Fantastic! I use them as the main boats for my Joe Navy.
The Little Bird Helicopter from that line is also pretty cool. It's only a one seater, but it looks good and the Prop folds up for easier storage. My Finacee' really likes the Chinook. We got the Black and Grey camo chinook for Night Force, and we may get some of the new Green camo ones for our other Joes. As for the Black Hawk, it looks pretty good. I don't have one yet, but I'm considering buying a few for my Para-Vipers to deploy from. It's a great looking helicopter, especially for the money, and Cobra is sorely lacking in the Helo department. If it's as good as the Navy SEAL Boat, I'll be very pleased.

True Heroes and Chap Mei are different companies. CM does the Chinook.

Thanks for clarifying. They call it something like "Elite Operations" or something like that. I guess to make it sound more American and Military. The molds of the figures and the vehicles look very similar... just like Lanard (which is a British owned company, I believe). Is it possible that all the toys are made at the same factory with the same molds? They are pretty similar.

That sounds cool. All I can picture is Scarlet hanging off that chopper in issue #9 from the Marvel run. I think I'm sold.
