Well, I got the chance to unbox this little vehicle and take several few pictures of it inside & out. I didn't bother with taking any of the figure that came with it or the oversized weapons & accessories as they are the same as what comes with a lot of the Chap Mei stuff. Here is a link to an earlier post showing it boxed: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/toys/4...toys-ross.html
I have to admit, I really like this vehicle more than I thought I would. It's fairly simple, but could be a quick and easy custom for anyone to try by just removing the SF stickers and adding some new Joe ones. My plan is to eventually customize this one a little beyond that. My biggest issue with the looks of it was the oddly placed gun on the back fender. It pops off easy enough and looks like a short antenna would have been better suited in it's place. The rail on the front can be removed and put back on. The driver enters the cockpit by a front folding door. When the rail is removed the door is free to swing open even further if desired. The basic driver's area is fairly large and should accomodate most Joes. My 50th Shipwreck in the below pics has no problem fitting in with his legs fully extended. On top, the gunner turret rotates 360 degrees and the gun has a just a little bit of side to side movement with no up or down pivot. The plastic quality is more rigid on the silverish gray frame and other parts of the same color more so than the more flexible green body plastic. It feels pretty sturdy as a whole, and should hold up fine with normal play. All in all, it's not bad for $10. It's a small unusual vehicle with decent play features, can hold two Joes well, and has great potential for customizing.

Although they got cheaper, they are a great base for customizing.
I love this thread. pls come with more vehicles.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. A customizing base or as parts, is mostly what I see in stuff like this. I have a ton of random vehicles I've picked up here and there only for this purpose. Most are loose from yard sales and thrift stores though. I'd thought about starting a garage sale/thift store finds thread for these type non-GI Joe vehicles. If I come across anything else new, I'll try to take add more.

I'm surprised that has a driver's compartment. A lot of Chap-Mei items like that don't.

Not bad for $10! The figure in the turret--do his legs stick into the driver's compartment, or is there a "wall" between the two, apart from the back of the driver's seat? Not a major point, but just something I'm curious about.

The inside of the turret is an enclosed tube the gunner stands in. You can probably see it best in the 9th & 13th pictures. Also, Shipwreck was standing straight legged in it, but there was room left to make him crouch down a little lower down in it.
