Less than 24 hours to go!
If anyone has any last-minute questions before locking your pledges, ask 'em if you got 'em! About add-ons and MOQs, the current add-on figures (Walks-Two-Worlds plus (Cow-Bruh Bandit, Cow-Bruh Boss, Scarlet Dragoon, Bei Lei Long, Rough Country) are going ahead regardless. So, pledge without worry. About the All-In, if you've gone big or thinking about it, note that if the value doesn't quite reach breakeven, the practice has been to give extra credit to spend as you like. So, feel free to go big. And if we don't get to add-ons wave 2 now, there's still a chance we may unlock them in the allocation phase. So, savour the luscious goodness of Hongse Emo, while deciding on your final add-ons. |

What's the minimum pledge to have access to backerkit? I'm really liking the look of W2W and the cow-bruhs are genius. No offense, I'm just not sold on the horses and buying a saddle seems kinda pointless. But I'd be happy to throw in a few bones to get my foot in the door and get those horses made. I assume you are counting backerkit in the totals? As usual, these prototypes look very nice. Have you finally decided to do painted portraits? Makes a world of difference (just look at Eagle Force).

Considering we are getting a free figure in Walks-Two-Worlds (a $28 value), then can look at this as getting a horse or merch for only $22 (or a saddle for free), while helping CFT's goal of making horses. Once you have picked a level in the pledge manager, it takes you to the Add-Ons page, where you can add Cow-Bruh and other Weird Western Tales figures (as well as their accessories from the stretch goals). |

I'm sad that I missed the live stream as I had a couple of questions; not necessarily about the KS but about a figure that was shown in the Cavalry KS and another sort of random question. Alas and alack, I was in a meeting that I could not miss or delegate to someone else. Watched a replay and hope he decides to try to unlock the others during the backerkit. Now begins the wait......

Technically they can't as the BK hasn't been opened/created yet, afaik. I've never been real clear on the relationship between BK and KickStarter as companies, but I *believe* BK started as a way for creators to get their KS funds sorted into orders for eventual delivery to KS backers, then they expanded to accepting additional funds after the KS closure date. This money couldn't help a project get KS-funded simply because it's not pulled from people's wallets until after the KS funds.
The money raised by the KS is *supposed* to be funding to get a project off the ground, which for action figures means 'paying the factory' for the most part. Action Figures are, unbeknownst to everyone even in the hobby and field, amongst the pinnacle of plastics technology. Knowing what plastics to use and how they'll interact with the other plastics an action figure is eventually composed of (including glues and paints) over time is the 'rarified artisanal' side of plastics production. Because of this, the cost to manufacture action figures are relatively steep for the size of the product; molds traditionally being chief amongst those costs. Once that money is given to the factory to start production, my understanding is that money raised afterwards in the BK goes towards increasing the size of the eventual order KS-production makes down the road in a few months time, i.e. buying more plastic to make more of each item than the Minimum Order Quantity of the KS, buying more paint colors to increase item-variants only the BK can 'unlock', more accessories and heads to make more characters, etc. I'm not a KS or BK creator (yet, if ever), but this is what I've seemed to have seen from the outside. I've been out of the loop again. When does the backerkit go out?
