I think he's not updating on Kickstarter out of spite at this point. And he's talking about refunding any backers he considers mean to him. This is a fantastic way to burn bridges.

Seriously? Maybe I'll be mean and get a refund so I don't have to wait any longer.

Ye almost 3 days since he posted on FB and doesn't do it on KS. I didn't know everyone must have a FB account and be registered on his group to support this campaign. I am but only because I wanted to, this is was not a requisite from what I know and I've seen lot of people here that doesn't have a FB account.
Just my opinion, if it is like this now, imagine if you have problems with your order which can happen, either quality issues, missing parts etc... In order to get support you have to go to FB?

I went back and glanced at Kickstarter checking on Marauder and Mythic Legions and I noticed this: Projects are not guaranteed, but creators must update the backers"
Makes me wonder if Sol is in violation of this stipulation. Not all Kickstarter backers have Facebook and are not required to. This could be pretty harmful to him if KS wanted to investigate complaints. |

You guys really need to read the contracts y'all are signing when you Pledge. https://help.kickstarter.com/hc/en-u...sfully-funded- Quote:
I still haven’t heard anything after reaching out to a creator
We expect creators to always keep their backers informed. However, each creator may approach their communication differently. Keep in mind that you may not receive a response right away – the creator is likely working hard to complete their project, and are communicating with backers as fast as they can. Don’t be dismayed if it takes longer than you expected to receive a response. If you’ve already checked the Updates section, requested a new update, and reached out to the creator via Kickstarter direct messages, we recommend waiting a week or two before taking any further steps. A creator’s inbox can quickly become overwhelmed. In some cases, creators may move their communications off of Kickstarter after their project ends, or they may be more responsive elsewhere. Check if the creator might have listed their own website, social media pages, or a direct email address in previous updates or in their creator bio. As a next step we recommend reaching out to a creator through their own website or social media. If you are still having trouble connecting with the creator, even after giving them a reasonable amount of time to respond (think two weeks, not two days), you can let us know by sending a message to our Support team. Make sure to outline the steps you’ve already taken to contact the creator, and let us know a little more about the nature of the issue. In certain instances, our Support team may be able to send a message to the creator, as an extra way of reminding them to check in with their backers. While Kickstarter can provide guidance to creators when delays happen, and remind them of their obligation to keep their backers in the loop, we don’t step into the actual fulfillment process. |

So....? No one here is asking for refunds. In fact its the creator saying it will refund those because of bitching around. People here are complaining about the lack of communication. Even on FB information was very rare. But look at Eagle Force. I didn't support it in the beginning, only bought a figure later. They had numerous problems because of the factory mostly, which screwed them over. Still they kept the communication open on KS. My figure was sent and it never arrived. I managed to talk to them and received a refund.
The problem here is only one COMMUNICATION. If he communicates properly, he won't receive that many people bitching around. And if he wants people to check FB place a disclaimer that due to personal, professional or whatever reason he will only provide updates via FB. Make the site open to everyone and that's it. I'll emphasize again, almost 4 days and no update on KS.

Kickstarter also specifically recommends, even now, that creators don't do it: https://help.kickstarter.com/hc/en-u...-with-backers- Quote:
Backers expect to connect with you through Kickstarter, so it's best to use our tools for sending updates, messages, and asking for information. Avoid asking people to sign up for another service as it can be confusing for backers, and difficult to keep all your information in one place.
