Gung.Heaux: Interllectual property as in REGISTERED TRADE MARKS.. KB TOYs, Logos names..
Christ apperently you people arent getting this.. KB Toys as a Company is GONE.. no longer exsist.. what does exsist is the trade marks, logos, in house brand names.. etc etc all of which fall under INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IP which is being sold.. so who ever DOES BUY IT.. can rebuild the company however they want.. They can make Yo-Yo's under the KB Toys name.. it can be a design house of just graphics renders for upcoming toys.. Now granted if anyone bought it to re-open as a toy store - there would only be a small uphill battle to over come-- and that would be people that would try to return shit from a few years ago.. or people like gung.heaux that have a bad taste in the mouth from old kb policies and procedures.. but after a month of telling people its a new company new ownership the name brand would push people to your business. The more I lobby for this - the more I want to buy the name.. dammit.. someone move that seat cusion on the couch.. gotta be some change in there somewhere.. only need a few million.. push the cat out of the way and check under that pillow.. SWEETHEART!?!? YOU SEEN MY WALLET ANYWHERE??!?! I NEED A MILLION DOLLARS!! |

Instant name recognition is worth alot to some. I could see the cost of the KB Toys property going for quite a hefty amount.

It`s a GREAT idea in principle a store for the collector. Could have a deal with MJ to & be an actual store for his wares as well.
As fopr the negativity, well no matter the hobby or the cause there will be nay sayers, always will be :( Look when MJ started & GTG,some were for it some saying it won`t work. Thus far both have proved to be valid & established ceals, tho niether have a bricks n mortar store (do they?). Tho no reason you have to take the BnM path, you could be purely net based. Whatever if some do club together for the "Bad ass Toys",good luck |
