Anyone have this set? If so, how is it? Worth the cash?

I was curious also, I hope they don't have the giant chrome leg hinge like the masterpiece line did.

They're kinda fragile.

From what I read of the Amazon reviews a couple months ago, they're nice shelf pieces, but not when played with. Don't transform them too much.
I may pick one up if I can ever knock out the things on my buy list that are above them.

I have them 2. I only opened the Veritechs of Rick and Roy. They are a bit flimsy. I like the Toynami Masterpiece figures better.

I can appreciate that . Perhaps what is needed is new media . As it stands i feel about Robotech like i do about Joe - I loved it as a kid and still pay attention to the property but you can only keep releasing 30 year old designs for so long. The new updated G1 designs in the TF line are a great example of keeping a design classic but refreshing it simultaneously.

Just doesn't feel solid enough for the price point. The bigger ones from Japan are still my favorites. That being said, I still got a skull 1 anyway.
