They make a lot of WW2 stuff which apprenlty has more customer base since they have so gawd damn many diffent types on that website, anything modern shows sold out or coming soon...I am not very optimsitic given the way the previous large vehicles came and went and I never once saw them ever in any toy store/retailer in 200 miles of my house...wanted one of those BBI F-18s but oh now we just ended up having WW2 crap...

I doubt many retailers will carry a $200+ 'toy' airplane. It'll probably be online only for a while.

And is that a Phoenix missle under the fuselage of the F-14? This plane is a must-have too. And he'll definately need a wingman, so count me in for the inevitable repaint or variant to follow!

Totally awesome if they happen. Great news for the folks that can afford them and have the space for them.
As much as I'd like to pick up something like these, they're just too dang big. That Flanker would end up being more than half as long as the FLAGG! And aside from the $200+ price tag...don't forget to add a hefty shipping charge and/or sales tax. |

A lot of us have been burned in the past with lofty 1:18 dreams (F-4 anyone...), so we're rightfully cautious with our hopes and dreams these days.
Fortunately for us, the Tomcat, as shown, has already gone beyond some random announcement, we actually saw a painted prototype. That's a lot farther than a Phantom that was announced by 21st, or MIG-21, B-24 that never materialized. |

I want a 1/18th scale B-52 or a Mig-29. The SU-27 is ok I just like the look of the Mig-29 and Mig-31s better. Throw some 1/18th scale TU-22 Backfires and a couple Hinds like this one!

I know it's cliche, but I'd say if you guys want that stuff: Start buying the heck out of the rest of their 1:18 stuff! (Particularly that Tomcat when it comes out).
As huge as it would be, I would totally buy a 1:18 HIND. But a 1:18 B-52? Good lord man! You're talking like a 9 ft long, 2 1/2 ft tall airplane with a 10 1/2 ft wingspan! No offense, but I don't see anyone mass-producing anything that big. Too small a market (not everyone has a garage they can store it in, and folks aren't going to want to shell out the $500+ to buy it). I'm not sure how wide the fuselage would be, but you'd almost be able to store a FLAGG inside of it! Last edited by Jmacq1; 05-12-2009 at 01:45 PM.. |

Yeah...really don't see that happening in our lifetimes unless you build it yourself (which you probably could, for that price).
But hey, a guy can dream. |
