After seeing the movie, I really loved the spacesuits and the vehicles. I know Moebius Models is coming out with a 1/72 scale RANGER spacecraft. If Hasbro or another company made 3 3/4 scale figures of the astronauts, TARS, CASE and the vehicles--RANGER and LANDER, would you buy them? Granted the 1/18 would be a distorted JOE SCALE, each vehicle holding a minimum of 2 and a robot or max of 4 with a robot.
They could even have a Dr Mann and KIPP robot sold as an exclusive. With a space probe and possibly a habitat that is the orange looking storage container. Just spitballing. And if you want to go to the NINES, make it possible to build the ENDURANCE. CARGO/ENGINE/OPERATIONS PODS with connecting tubes. |

Nope, no interest in Interstellar toys. Nothing against the movie, I've just never felt that every IP I enjoy necessarily needs toys.

Nope.....the movie was boring as hell and didn't inspire me to want toys at all.

Good to know. I haven't seen it yet, doesn't sound like I'm missing much.

Hey, to each their own. I liked the fact that Exploration was key and that the vehicles had a modular design and were thought out in terms of roles they would play. Im a fan of 2001/2010, there hasn't been a decent space movie that focuses on that. Everything is always designed and filmed to scare us. I thought the film was fine. Humanity is on its last leg and due to not looking forward, they are running out of food. Wars are no longer fought due to lack of food. The film is more about beating the odds, that humans don't give up, we find a way. If the movie wasn't your cup of tea, then it wasn't. I saw some vehicles that could definitely enjoy the GI JOE scale. Promoting science and adventure, not your normal fare, but definitely something a bit different. I saw it in IMAX and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Had some cool robots and some really great moments for Matt MacC.
