Shot in the dark. It was a metal toy helicopter in Joe scale. OD green with a yellow windshield and a single rotary blade. Two seats up front, an open bay for troops in the back. Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds, and looks, like a Nylint vehicle. Maybe Ertl. Who else made metal toy vehicles besides them and Tonka?
