I would really like to find a figure that's small enough scale to a hot wheels car.But i doubt there are any that small with good articulation.Any ideas?

Well, there's a lot of 1:64 scale figurines made for diecast cars the size of hotwheels and Ho scale railroads, but as far as I know, no dice on articulated figures at that scale.
You would probably have to make one out of a figurine or make a wire figurine, which would be very hard. |

Smallest your gonna find are Mega Bloks Call of Duty or newer Halo minifigures as far as having really good articulation. I'm guessing you might be able to hack up some railroad figures and reposition the arms and glun them how you want.

Transformers Human Alliance (especially from the Dark of the Moon series) are about the smallest I know of, and they are still about 2" tall.
But I doubt there is anything articulated at 1/64 scale, though.

How articulated so they need to be? I mean Diaclone Drivers had shoulder and leg joints, and stand about an inch tall.

There were those Star Wars Action Fleet figures from several years back. I think they had shoulder and leg articulation.

If you want full articulation with realistic scale proportions at 1.5" tall then you will have to use a wire and latex. I've done it a million times for fully poseable 1-1.5" figures .
Use free twisty ties at the grocery store (produce section). Trim the paper off and twist 2-3 depending upon desired thickness and flexibility. |

There is a line of Train Modelling supplies that allows you to create and cast HO Scale people. As far as articulation goes, I think you need to build it into your casting. I have never seen anything smaller than that. My partner does casting of people for her train layout but she hasn't needed them to be articulated. I think the company she buys from is called, "Minimart". They have a nice catalog of supplies for all ranges of talent.

No articulation but in the old star wars micro machine sets there are a few figures that are posed as 'seated'. They fit nicely into HW cars, I have Han solo behind the wheel of my Ridgeline
