I'll see if i have any photos of random figures that i've made over the years. I likely don't but if anything i'll make a quick one at some point in order to give you a visual.
They *can* be very cool if you have patience or if you have little bits that you plan on adhering to the body. As an example look at these : Figurine HABRUM GIRAYA NINJA vintage Jouetscollector Now imagine them with a wire armature inside and possibly either bits added on or multi color patterns. ...now i actually want to make one lol |

There used to be little figures that came with Star Wars vehicles.
I think it was called something like Action Fleet.. the articulation were at the waist and arms. There was a line of Ninja Turtle sets too. Mini turtles that opened to dioramas. Star Trek had a similar set from Playmates. 1997 Playmates Starfleet Away Team Action Figure Set NIP 7 Mini Figures | eBay

Interesting, I never thought of that. I have 1 shelf on my bookcase set up with Tomica buildings for my Hot Wheels but I don't use the Tomica figures because they are too large and kiddy. This thread is making me want to go to a hobby store and find some proper scale people to pose in my little dio setup I have.
