Not sure if this is in the right spot so please move if need be.
Long story short is I'm selling off my entire collection. I'm just done with it. Not trying to pawn my stuff off here but just need some advice. Been a seller on Ebay for close to 15 years or more. Bottom line is you don't make money there anymore so I'm not going that route. Sold off a few things on Hisstank but that's not very often and the good stuff is always cherry picked out. Unloaded some stuff on craigslist but really hate having strangers coming to my house and meeting in a public area for a drop off is a real pain in the ass. So the question is I'm thinking of taking everything up to a collector store in one big haul. There are a few around me and I'd like to let it all go once and for all and be done with it. Problem is I've never done that and don't know what to expect. Is it worth it? I know I'm not going to get market value but will I be extremely low balled? My collection is not massive by any means. I have roughly 300 or so carded figures (GI Joe and Star Wars...all modern stuff...90's and up), 2 or 3 totes of loose vehicles (Joe and SW), 1 case of vintage SW and 1 case of vintage GI Joe (semi complete but overall good condition), random loose vintage vehicles (Joe and SW) and a couple cases of Hot Wheels. Is it even worth it to bring it all at one time or should I break it down and make a couple different trips? I know I shouldn't have any issue selling the vintage stuff but the modern stuff I'm not so sure. I mean, we all have that stuff and most of us never opened it. I kinda feel like it's a take what you can get for it situation. I also thought about renting a table at a flea market one weekend and see what happens. Any thoughts? I'm open to any suggestions as I'm really clueless on what to do. Thanks

I have debated this situation quite a few times now. I have used craigslist and it works sometimes especially if u are in a big enough city. I like ebay for its convenience but its generally a loss maker if you are not selling some super rare htf figures.
Recently I started selling my DC collectibles figures on Ebay(spent 20+ on each) and had 3 of them sell for 5 bucks and the rest for 15 each. I stopped selling after that. edit: you wouldn't happen to have a 25th anniversary shipwreck now would you??

If you can, spring for a table at a toy show. It's a lot of fun, too.

There is a small little flea market that runs every other weekend close to me. I think tables are $15. Might try it.
