Space 1999's Eagle 1 Transporter maybe? Came out in 1976 I think.
It's as long as the original Falcon (actually longer) with a cargo bay, detachable cockpit and engine sections can be connected to form a smaller craft. The figures that came with it were a smaller scale than 3.75" but Joe and Star Wars figures will still fit just fine. Here's a shot with the original Kenner mold Falcon on the same landing platform to give an idea of the Eagle's length. I don't think I have any side by side comparison shots. I was thinking the battle base from wheeled warriors...I used that for gi joe all the time, it was cobra's answer to the MCC, and it was my substitution to the terrordrome.

Depending on the year here are some thoughts. Any general size scale or material used in it's construction you can remember would be helpful, Star Wars created a HUGE resurgence of sci fi like toys in this era.
