Just had a similar thread on Rebelscum.com, so I'll just paste it here!
Awesome thread. My biggest focus is Star Wars, G.I. Joe and 80's vintage martial arts stuff, like old issues of Black Belt Magazine and Ninja magazine, junky mail-order weapons and AWMA ads, those old prism reflective stickers you'd buy with 2 quarters, modern samurai swords, tanto, bokken, and training gear, and old and new books. My Star Wars focus is on Sith Lords, bounty hunters, Imperials, Seperatists, First Order and Jabba's thugs. All figures are carded, ships and in boxes, and but statues and busts are out on display. My nicer or rare figures go in Protech cases. Have a weak spot for McQuarrie and other concept arts (or Samurai-inspired stuff like Bandai and Kotobukiya). Other stuff G.I. Joe - mostly Cobra, Iron Grenadiers and Dreadnoks, since my focus is on villains. Just a few vehicles at this point, but I'd like to get more. Most are 25th collection, but also a few vintage and Funskool vintage carded figures, with a few of the new Collector's Club also. When it comes to the 80's, I actually have more nostalgia for Joes, since it pretty much dominated my life from 82 to about 86, but I still kept reading the comics and purchasing the occassional Joe even when I was "too old for it" lol. Marvel DC - kind of a mix of 3 inch and 6 inch figures, focused on Batman, Deathstroke, Katana, Ra's and Talia, Madame HYDRA, Taskmaster, US Agent, Daredevil, Typhoid, Elektra, Psylocke, Bullseye, Daredevil, Kingpin, Wolverine, Lady Deathstrike, Silver Samurai, Spiral and Zemo. AVP - love the NECA line, have several Predators, a few Xenos, a few humans and a Terminator. Also have several NECA Kill Bill figures, and might get some of the Death Eaters from Harry Potter. D&D - was a huge fan of the LJN figures in the early 80's, when Star Wars was on it's way out but G.I. Joe, He-Man and D&D were on the rise. Only have a few now, but had pretty much the whole line back then. Would love to get my hands on a boxed Fortress of Fangs (along with a boxed Cobra Terrordrome and boxed Darth Vader's Star Destroyer!) I might get back into He-Man at some point down the, because they have some cool new figures, and the originals have strong nostalgia for me, but that would be way down the line - too much to buy right now. Also some Asian art, like Hakata statues figurines, and Mudman Shiwan statues from China. Used to have a huge collection of these in the 90's but sold most of them off over the years, just from lack of display space. Comics - Batman, Robin, some other DC like Katana and Deathstroke but Batman is the only DC character I follow, Daredevil and G.I. Joe (my biggest collections are these two, huge nostalgia from the 80's on these titles), X-Men but mostly focused on Psylocke and Wolverine, Captain America, Ghost Rider, The Punisher, Shi, AvP stuff, and some spinoffs like Taskmaster and Elektra. Also have a lot of Lone Wolf & Cub. This was the only manga I could ever really get into, and I've been rebuying them in graphic novel format lately. Never really got into Star Wars comics much, mostly just the novels, but I might start buying from the new canon, since the old EU is out. Sold off all my CDs and almost all of my DVDs over the years and have been rebuying everything digital on Amazon, but I'm still a book nerd and will never give up my hardovers and paperbacks. Haven't bought any digital comics, yet. |

I mainly stick to gijoe and Transformers. And if I like another old 80's property that gets remade like Voltron or thundercats I'll buy it but mostly stick to Joe's And Transformers. They take up enough space.

i spend so much money on toys I had to limit it to one line. That line is GI Joe but I cheat by buying any product that can be mixed with GI Joe (like certain marvel or the A-Team figures). So all 4" line, compatible with Joe.
