Their claiming 13 POA. I suppose it's how you count the joints.
They're interesting, but I'd never be in for more than one unless they have some kind of custom uses I've yet to discover. |

I've been following this on Facebook... interesting and I'm glad to see kickstarters becoming more successful.

no human skintone or torso articulation kills it for me.
I do hope these sell well, but I doubt it. 'Action figures are for boys' is a deeply ingrained social stigma that they'll be hard pressed to overcome at retail, and the vague storyline with sourceless powers combined with the anti-boy language they use won't help them sell to that group.

They're not trying to sell them to the boys, it's for the girls.
I don't know what anti-boy language you mean. There is a segment that is turned off by the way females are depicted in action figure form and in comics. These are meant to appeal to that segment, and that's where their kickstarter is marketed towards. These could use a stronger story and some antagonists, but I threw 65 at it to help support it.

I can imagine how hard it would be to try this and not end up pandering to girls...
They kinda look like a squad of female Robin figures.

Neat idea, I suppose. My problem is that they all look too same-y.

I understand their point, and I do hope they have success. My biggest concern is that they're trying to address a problem from one side. Teaching only one sex that both sexes are equal can't solve inequality. They should have marketed these to 'kids' instead of 'girls'.

They have a point though. Why do those figures have such big hooters?
It doesn't exactly make them look better. |

re: hooters, Yeah I like how the modern female joe figures actually look like real women. That Renegades scarlett mold is pretty versatile.
re: these figs: I think I'd be in if the flesh was human toned. Or maybe if they were all different colors |
