Title pretty much says it all. I've tried for a few years to find anything on old battery operated cars/trucks from the 80's. Remember the ones that took two AA batteries ? The old brain is a bit fuzzy now on the details, but from what I can remember most of those old cars/trucks had pretty much the same bottom part with the motor/wheels and such only the entire top came off and it seems like most of them was enterchangeable.
Anyhow there was a set I got sometime maybe around 84 or 85. It was maybe two to three feet long and maybe about 8 to 10 inches wide. It was made up of these brown plastic sections that fit together making a sort of hill or bridge with some sections you could put a part that actually looked like a wooden plank bridge. I think it had 4 of the large brown hill like sections and two wood bridge sections and it came with some of those battery operated trucks. It was wide enough that most of the 82-84 GIJoe vehicles could cross it, but 85 and up was too wide. Like the AWE Striker and Snow Cat. Does that ring any bells for anyone ? any help greatly appreciated. |

I'm glad to help. Stompers , specifically the sci fi stompers that came with the little drivers, were some of my favorite toys as a child. Good memories and good fun
