Saw the new Star Trek movie figs at the local Target in Brooklyn.
They had several 3 3/4" figs (Spock, Old Spock, Sulu, Chekhov, Pike) and a few 6" figs (all I remember is Chekhov). The articulation on the 3 3/4" figs looked alright. Now you can have Kirk interact with Duke and Captain America against Jason or Freddy! Plus they had the USS Enterprise Bridge and Transporter Room playsets.

I saw them at walmart the other night. Big pass.
Maybe if they give us a 3.75 Gorn or Maguto. Then I will buy them. |

I've gotten all of the 3 3/4" stuff so far. I'm a little irritated that the Bridge costs more, yet the Transporter is the one with the electronics and stuff that usually increases the price. It's not like the Bridge has much more plastic than the Transporter (Especially since 70% of the playset comes with the single packed figures)
Sure some of the figures have bad head sculpts but I just like the fact that I have Starfleet figures to interact with my Joes and Marvel Superheroes now......and for Jason to hunt and butcher ![]() |

I saw them at WM as well, I really wish Scotty looked like Simon Pegg, or at least James Doohan.

These figures make me feel very lucky to be a Joe collector. They look like they have horible articulation. I am a Trek fan but I would never by these figures to play with. They are worse than even SW figures.

Too me they don't look bad. I do agree that the bridge set is over priced when you consider it's not complete.
Has anyone picked up the U.S.S. Enterprise?

Quote:
Head - side to side rotation (No ball joint) Shoulders - Ball joint Elbows - Ball joint (Uhura doesn't have this joint) Wrists - seems to be a ball but could just be a normal swivel like the 25th Joes (Uhura doesn't have this joint) Waist - side to side rotation Hips - T-Crotch Knees - Ball joint Ankles - Ball joint (The two cadet figures do not have this joint) So if these figures had a ball joint neck, ball joint (or similar) hips and a mid torso joint, these would actually be superior to 25th Joes (Except for Dusty, who'd be on par with them) Hardly horrible in the articulation department. At least these can sit down properly ![]() |
