hi all!
Before two months I ve started my hunting for old toys quest in Greece! The goal is to find old gi joe and maybe some transformers, heman, micro machines military for my collection and to sell-trade some of them in normal prices. I am not a scalper. I will sell them in normal prices which reflect the prices I ve paid and the time and gas I ve spent searching. Despite visiting many stores and warehouses, the results were fruitless till yesterday... I went to a small greek town where I found an old toy store-warehouse with MILLIONS of old toys. The store was amazing! Old toys from the '90s were everywhere! I will go there next week and I am gonna ask him to take some pics. The only problem was the fact that he sold his vintage moc and misb gi joe and transformers three years ago... :( I found Motu 200x castle grayscull new spin blade skeletor man at arms samurai skeletor original battle armor skeletor orko dragon walker action man team truck h.q. helicopter rescue canoe cayak lots of action man dolls operation atak photo mission v.r. trooper and many others max steele figs micro machines battle zone many tmnt (old and new) playmobil lego It also has some old true heroes-soldier force sets (bought them all! ) harry potter barbie batman pirates of the carribean johny quest burago hot wheels micro machines (mostly he has mattel products) the question... Do you think that there will be an interest for any of those? Is it worth buying ? I am doing my research in internet but I would like to hear your opinions or even requests about specific items! lol |

You'd definitely find interest in the MOTU, Hot Wheels and TMNT.

Military micro machines are usually easy to sell. Hell, I might be interested if he has any of those.

after searching more than 20 toystores and warehouses I finished my old toys hunting quest in Greece... (for now... )
Unfortunately, I didnt manage to find any vintage gi joe or transformers.... I ve only found a roc steel crusher, a mudbuster, some gi joe extreme and transformers from the movies... I am really happy though, that I found some old chap mei-soldier force sets which can work with gi joe... (a police station, a hydroplane, land rover vehicle, swat van, a helicopter, a littlebird heli and many props) I also found some sets from james bond jr and double dragon, which can work with gi joe. I was surprised with how many action man dolls and vehicles and how many tmnt stuff from the movie line (playsets and figures) I ve managed to find. anyway, if anyone is interested I ve put the extras in my bst. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...nts-b-s-t.html I am looking to trade rather than sell. (I will trade in favor for some ultimate dukes, crimson guards and combat ninjas) |

Anything vintage MIB/MOC TMNT, Lego, or Hotwheels before the internet is gold. Some Playmobil may be desirable, but I don't know anythign about the line.
The Turtle Newsvan, Undercover Turtles (with cloth trenchcoats) and Shogun Triceraton & Shogun Shoate, Supermutant Shredder, Bebop & Rocksteady are all big money items. Some TMNT references: http://tmnttoys.com/ http://thetechnodrome.com/ Last edited by Zarana X; 09-05-2013 at 02:25 PM.. |

I have bought so many stuff from the warehouse with the action man items and I think that the store owner would be more than helpful to find them... He hasnt sold any action man for years! I have just completed listing the action man items in ebay. action man from lawtria | eBay let me know if you are interested in anything. of course the prices will be significantly lower. |
