I'm fairly certain they like to do neither. Otherwise, they wouldn't quote the prices they have for these figures. Their recollections have been the basis for me not even entertaining the notion for collecting them. I can promise you that they have to pay 10 bucks retail for these lines. These are the same friends who tell me that SW figures have gone up to 10 bucks at K-Mart. I trust them, far more than I do your opinion of them. Besides, I see the mark ups here.

I've seen all of the figures around lately (including Gambit) Comic Deadpool seems to have gotten a little scarce but he can still be found.
Personally, I keep passing on Maverick because he has no wrist articulation and I almost wish I never bought Gambit because he also has to wrist articulation along with no ankle articulation |

Yeah, none of the XMO figs have been hard to find for me... I have found Deadpool A LOT (both versions), and Gambit too. Although the fig sucks because of no ankle articulation, so he is VERY hard to keep standing....
and yes, the prices are 7.99 at Target 8.44 at Walmart and 8.99 at Kmart. I have seen them for 11.99 at Shopko too.... |

Wal-marts here have them at 7.99... oh and TRU.com has the Wolverine/Saberto [I think he's a Spanish cousin] two pack for 13.99.
Back to the thread, I found a Gambit at KMart the other day with a comic Deadpool, first 'pool I've found with the "eyes" on his beltbuckle in the right spot, in fact. |

Im actually relieved to hear that Gambit isnt that great a fig. I passed on him a couple times, and each time I think "dammit I should have got him" I wish they'd do him in the MU line

I tell you, it's hit and miss with the figures. The movie Deadpool is missing wrist and ankle articulation as well, and aside from not being Deadpool, he'd be a decent figure overall with at leas the wrist movement. I was also tempted to pick up the Wolverine and the X-Men Nightcrawler but I'm pretty sure he's missing elbow articulation.
