For the past few years Walmart only wanted licensed products that could be cross promoted, which was why you saw less Corps! through Walmart.
Top Gun, Jumanji, Kong, Rampage, Alien, and Predator all have been offered as Walmart Exclusives Domestically. Even though licensed products were Walmarts main selection There were exceptions including two 4-Way Assault sets offered in the last two years at Christmas and the Sam's club ultimate collection sets, The limited release ultimate Assault battle pack and Walmart/shared exclusives of Jurassic Clash. The Partnership with Walmart only had a small assortment of corps! Yes fans had access to multiple figure sets, but only a limited selection of the Corps! Line has been sold through Walmart, mainly first response, a few mid sized offerings, but still Walmart assortments are only a small fraction of available products. And Lanard is changing that, by offering more products and more variety than just a single retail location, it's a positive, not a negative. This gives everyone a better selection of products. I get that it's been frustrating and it's easy to forget that this past year we've experienced a pandemic and are currently going through a global shipping crisis, but through it all Every company has had schedule shifts in product release schedules altered. Some companies can swallow profits to get products here at a loss because their products are inflated, but Lanard's commitment is to bring more products to its consumers and because Lanard products are priced competitively scheduled releases were pushed out due to new shipping and schedules that would not raise costs to the consumer. Products will arrive for multiple retailers later this summer, with more added in the fall. That is the schedule, and once each breakdown is ready I will list them. I will also reiterate that the new Jurassic Clash Mega Monster Cyber Gorilla should be available on August 10th through Amazon. For more info on all CORPS! Walmart typically does product resets around the middle to end of August (barring a tie in line like Space Jam, Minions, and possibly Snake Eyes). Your Mileage May Vary by location.

All I know is up until a couple years ago I could get every Corps figure that came out easily at Walmart from the time I was a child. We’ve heard for the last two years now that Corps would be coming back there, but it never happens. If and when the stuff if available where I can buy it locally, I’ll start buying it again. Online options are great for those that are interested in shopping that way, but I’m not. So are they ever coming back to Walmart or not? And if so, when? That’s what I’m interested in knowing.
Supposedly, my store also has pegs for Star Wars Black and Retro, but I’ll be damned if I’ve seen anything aside from a single Black figure and pair of retro figures. In the 6 months the Plano gram has been set. And if anyone is looking for wave 1 MOTU Origins figures…my Walmart still has overflow into the top shelf of them. The sad reality is that online is an essential venue for the adult collector. And increasingly, for most consumers given the sad state of stores like mine. I’m not saying you should pay more than you are comfortable with, but how much is peace of mind and maybe saving some gas worth if you have to actually hunt for a discount toy line? And that doesn’t even begin to address the issue that tkprime remarked about Walmart JUST wanting licensed product. Not a whole hell of a lot to do about that except explore other options, which seem to be on tap for this fall.

Well, I guess you better HOPE your local Walmart carries The Corps this fall. I don’t have high hope for mine, but I also can’t find about 3/4s of most ANY toy product at my local store either. Had I written off online…Basically I wouldn’t have been able to acquire a VAST majority of my recent buys. My Walmart dumped GI joe after the new year. Transformers is a hodgepodge of a couple of Cyberverse SKU, Generations Deluxe, Netflix Deluxe, and Studio Series Voyager. That’s it. Supposedly, my store also has pegs for Star Wars Black and Retro, but I’ll be damned if I’ve seen anything aside from a single Black figure and pair of retro figures. You should run for office. You’re really good at saying a lot without ever answering the question. I already know about the licensed properties that I’m not interested in, the 4 way assault, and sams club packs. I’m asking if and when Walmart will be putting back on the shelves the single carded and 3 pack Corps figures like they carried forever but stopped when the licensed products came out. I understand what Walmart decides to carry isn’t Lanard’s fault. It’s a simple question. Are they going to carry the new figure assortments or not?

I get it, I understand online is the preferred shopping way now. I’m just not invested enough to fool with it. I’m more of a casual collector these days, my hardcore collecting days are over. I’ve acquired most of the vintage Joe and Corps stuff I wanted. I’m still interested in buying new corps because they’re cheap, and if I see them, I’ll get them. If not, no worries. I just wish someone could answer the question about whether Walmart will have them or not. It has been stated before that they were coming back to Walmart but they never have. For some reason we never can get a concrete answer on that, but I guess since they’ve been absent there for years, that’s probably the answer.
"i got most of my toys online buying this last year because no one is carrying toys!" i get that too. and i've been doing that. i hate every minute of it. i dont get to pick out the one i want, i get bent packages (im an opener, but sometimes i buy an extra to keep in the box.) and i see tons of complaints about bent packages. i've had every single preorder at walmart cancelled, i've had preorders not fulfilled now 2 years later, and it's over all not a satisfactory replacement to just going to the store and buying my toys. it burns me up that action figure aisles are barren; and i do not accept "well kids play with tablets now!" that's your fault for shoving one in their face. the fisher price aisle is always well stocked. and to the other point of "well walmart is carrying lanard product right now!" i am not going to buy their non 3.75" scale alien line, just because of the very strong possibility they think it's a success and replaces the one that i actually do like. it fits absolutely nothing in my collection. Watch your language please review the forum rules. Thank you Admin Last edited by THEDARKONE508; 06-30-2021 at 08:42 AM.. |

The Corps, I have a crate of Corps figures I dunno what to do with lol, do really like the Seal type figure they made in various colors and some of the others, just wish they hadn’t of made their feet and hands too big on them, as I do like the lore of the lines, this new time travel line they did, really diiggin’ that!

No Hasbro products were harmed after this video was recorded.
For the sake of fairness, All Products in this video were purchased through Walmart and Walmart Neighborhood Market. The Corps! 4-Way Assault was sold from late Nov-Feb and the Single Carded figure was sold through Walmart Neighborhood Market and will return with a new set of singles this fall. The H.I.S.S. and Cobra Trooper were both purchased at Walmart Again for the sake of fairness, this is Only about Dollar vs Dollar and what you're getting for what you are spending. I know everyone has opinions, favorites and the whole mentality that goes into this discussion, but that isn't what this video is about, this is about dollar for dollar what you're getting for your money! So fans of both brands here's a look at 2 products each. Offered by both companies and the prices you pay to own them at retail. For more info on all CORPS! Wait so Walmart neighborhood markets sell single pack figures? Where in the store are these located? I have never seen even a small section for novelties at one of those. That is great news!
