Maybe they will make a deal with Super 7 and make a classic no pants Willie, but only 5 POA.

This is why they open their single US based store in Missouri for only 4 days each year. It really enhances the appreciation factor of a new purchase when you really have to work for it. Anybody can have 5 minute sell outs with Target Exclusives. Lanard goes the extra mile to make you really earn their products.
That's the weirdest bit of all, because the official Corps webpage also includes a link to "their products" on Amazon, which in reality takes you to military toys from *other* companies instead. |

We shall uncover who Walt really is in a few days or never. I emailed Lanard asking about him. Lame yeah but was bored one day and was perusing the web site and the idea came to me.

Sheeesh, and people complain the Four Horsemen's figures being hard to get. At least with the Target exclusive Joes, you can still see the sold out listing letting you know they were there at some point. Wal-Mart doesn't even list this line exclusive to them on their website. But it does have a listing for Joes of all things.

Yeah, those 4 Horsemen new figures and the overall branding direction with The Curse got a LOT of people really excited, including me. Then Lanard decided to be Lanard.
I can’t help but scoff at tkprime’s comments about “Multimedia pushes”. Lanard had a good 7 years without a meaningful GI joe presence at a majority of retailers. The revamp with the new figure sculpts is 5 years old. Hell, GI Joe isn’t even making 3.75 figures as a primary brand expression at the moment. They have had MORE than ample time to DO SOMETHING with the brand. But the biggest thing they’ve done in that time has been to start doing licensed stuff. And update the website more than once every 5 years or so. It seems Lanard is perfectly content to remain “the knock off GI joe” line. Which is why I think a LOT of people are starting to, for lack a better word, chafe under. They have almost every element needed to establish The Corps as a viable alternative/competitor in a REAL sense to GI Joe. But clearly seem content to not spend the resources to be anything more than “that cheap military line”.

The last website update was just a few months ago when the New Dossier for Whispering Willie was rolled out, The entire site had a facelift from it's 2.0 coding over to the Time Crisis less than 2 years ago. I know there are a few updates coming, they'll be minimal as products go out so will the updates on the website. Future updates will be very noticeable, Included updated links to products. While Lanard is a smaller company than Hasbro or Mattel, Every single toy manufacturer has had the same ongoing issues over the past 12 months. On the License issue, as it's been explained Lanard has branched out and kept a retail presence as Walmart is one of the Largest Domestic Partnerships They wanted license tie ins more than they wanted anything else over the last two years. Even with that Lanard managed to give its fans 2 different 4-Way Assault sets the past two years for 25.00 As well as the Sams Club Ultimate Sets and Jurassic Clash shared exclusive at walmart.com Media takes time, I don't care if you scoff off anything I say, time will show. The sculpts have been improving, as more new characters are added in, older characters will be taken out of rotation. "Knock Off"? - The Corps! storyline have set it far apart from the Hasbro Delta team, The Corps! were formed shortly after WWII as a natural reaction to global threats. Did you miss the Battle Begins video? Here, I'll put up the video for anyone who missed the beginning of the Corps vs Curse saga that lead up to Time Crisis. Quote:

By far the weirdest and strangest of all Lanard based offerings is Not Adventure Force, or Pacipa or even The delta force bio wings. The strangest and top weirdest offerings to ever use Lanard molds are Gulliver's SOS Commando line. Gulliver's line based in Brazil takes Mattel Secret Wars, Diamond Toymakers Commando, Galoob Ultraforce, Kenner/Hasbro's Dark Knight collection, and Lanard's O Ring era heads and throws it all into a blender to offer up a line that takes the Weird and Strange trophy!!! A lot of the Original O Ring Corps! Heads joined the line midway through the Gulliver era as did o ring era Lanard Vehicles. And Yes Even Whispering Willie made multiple appearances in the gulliver offerings. As did Fox, Junkyard, Croc, Gunner o' Grady Bengala and many other early O ring Corps! If you were a straight up diamond toymakers commando fan many of the earlier figures were straight and recolors from its line. Through the course of Gulliver's run the Mattel Secret Wars cycles and Helicopters were offered in as many color and camo patterns as you can possibly imagine. There are some really interesting pieces that fans of 80s era toylines may want to track down. Gulliver even incorporated Rambo into the sos line after having it's own separate line of toys. They too have a few Lanard products incorporated into its line. The only glaring missing property was gijoe which was more than likely due to Hasbro's molds being leased in India around the same time in the 90s. But Hasbro/kenner dark knight collection pieces are also in this blended crazy line. Zr toys has taken over the molds and is now offering a fortnight type line with new heads and more weird colors thrown into the mix, including Tyco's Double Dragon still present are many of the Lanard heads, as well as several Secret wars heads a noticable change with Zr are now using Chap Mei torsos!
