Corps did O-Ring figures. They've just evolved to keep-up...and to be cheaper.

I had a bunch of these years ago that my cousin gave me but I seem to remember mine being o-ring figures. Maybe they weren't CORPS... I really don't know. I thought most of the figures looked kinda cheesy but the vehicles were cool. I ended up selling them on ebay (and some on hisstank) and they got snatched up pretty quick.
In 2002 when GI Joe introduced their newsculpt t-crotch figures, Lanard changed design styles to be similar to that, and haven't seen a need to change that style in the last 10 plus years. And oh sweet irony.... Saw the new "Action Packs" of The Corps figures at Walmart...and the figure are 3-5 POA. For all the fuss about Joe's articulation, we now have Corps figures with LESS articulation than the vehicle drivers...at the same price as the action sets from last year. HA! Also, www.thecorpshq.com is a surprisingly well done website for the figures from Lanard. WAY better than Hasbro's GI Joe website...

oh, crap! they went to 5 POA??? That sucks!
I have these weird DOG-headed 12" action figures by LANARD, I wish they'd make them in ARAH scale. They are so weird, but too big.

I think I'll be passing on the fortress after all, It looks too much like an echo-class vehicle shrunk down to bravo side.
I did find one of the small helios in green. It's actually pretty good.

I saw the new vehicles the other day. They look pretty neat in the more subdued color-schemes. I just wish they'd update the figures to match the New Recruit buck, as it's actually not a bad figure rig, T-crotch aside.

Merged a couple threads so we have just one Corps thread.
Kind of surprised that the overall direction with Total Soldier seems to make the line a touch more "realistic" than it had been with more subdued colors and designs. Would be an interesting contrast if Joe decides to switch gears back to scifi/fantastical.

That tiny jet looks like an escape pod.

It's less so than the Rapid Assault Attack Fighter
At least the Storm Strike has a retractable landing gear, though it's still a bit too small for what I like to see in a jet. And none of this stuff is really new. There is a review for a black version of that helicopter from 2011, and I've seen the Storm Strike in the bin of a discount store awhile back. They just keep rotating moulds.
