Fun fact....G.I.JOE was sued for using Battle "Corps" and Lost to Lanard, go look that up.
G.I.JOE had to sell off all remaining battle "corps" items and was so terrified of being sued the following year (as Hasbro was going to re brand it's line under Battle "Rangers") yes, Hasbro was afraid of a lawsuit that Saban and Bandai Co.were dominating the isles with their "Rangers" That Hasbro rebranded itself as SGT. SAVAGE and his screaming eagles.

tk the Filibuster approach is nice but they don’t work. Yes sustainability, with less to sidekick because other lines are getting shifted to 6” scales. Why can’t we find Corps products readily online? Sending a large majority of products to physical stores does not make sense especially right now. The distribution here looks a lot like Hasbro with some lines which is making items hard to get with ridiculous amounts of store exclusives. That combined with a generation of 8 year olds that play on tablets and phones instead of toys all the time. If it’s tough to get the products the brand loses buyers. You are correct that the collector market has changed but Lanard appears to be doing what they were doing ten years ago instead of adapting to the marketplace. Your answers are usually vague and your passive aggressive answers to collectors on this site if they don’t agree with you are pushing ppl away from the Corps instead of gaining interest in the brand.
The Corps has long been an effective complement to Joe lines and the Star troopers are good to ship now that the Mandalorian has hit for army builders. Just hard to get clear directions on this. Quote:
troopertrailer sustainability? This year marks the 35th year of worldwide sales of the Corps! Yes, the corps! brand was scaled back by 1 of the main retailers temporarily but even scaled back that retailer has carried product both online and during the holidays.
And The main debate is that Fans want the entire assortment at a single retailer, and Lanard Toys has very large items that many of the big retailers cannot accommodate in many of their stores due to shelving space limitations as main retailers have only X amount of room per isle per shelf per current store layout, Which is why other partnerships have been ongoing, to maximize product assortments in the every changing market. These aren't excuses as a few here have made what I say a debate, I have given answers, not excuses, not lip service, The entire U.S. market shifted as the Main Toy Stores closed, Every Toy company has fought for every inch of retail space and to stay visible to retailers, And up till the temporarily changeover to movie tie ins Walmart only carried the "Elite" assortment which for fans is a streamlined assortment consisting of figure packs, a small vehicle assortment, a medium vehicle assortment and a large vehicle once a year assortment. which is not even close to everything that the Corps! produces per year. And every year I have discussed the Lanard annual warehouse event, which has assisted thousands of fans of ALL ages. and I have assisted fans in locating any vehicle they've asked about, Fans asked about the gryphon and I had the link up for ustoy/constructive playthings the ENTIRE time it was in stock, It was also sold through several smaller venues including ocean state job lot, as they ordered a wide variety for holiday sales. Fans have asked about the rock, and as it was sold multiple times under the corps beast strike assortment (in 2 pieces, the upper section with a t rex, the lower section with cyber monkey) I provided retailer information where and when to purchase it, including Amazon, go store, and HEB, as wel as walmart dot com, and its yes, even through ollies. On it's solid Corps!release it was at the annual warehouse event the past 4 years! for 28.00!!! The Sky-Strike Was sold as a individual piece and in a deluxe battle pack, The battle pack was a sams club exclusive and was in store only not online. as well as go stores for the holidays. Now that's just on the items that a few fans here have debated, it's not that they're not available, it's that many fans are failing to understand that Lanard sells worldwide and Internationally assortments are sometimes different. Prior to the worldwide web Lanard sold exclusive products to Argentina that were NEVER offered in the united states, the same as how Hasbro's international in the 70's and 80's had international products not offered in the U.S. Fans are who I'm here on this forum addressing, ( I speak to every age group across social media daily) And I do understand the issue, and Lanard is working on a larger Domestic output strategy, to bring more variety of it's products to more retailers, and those negotiations are ongoing, Covid has indeed played a large roll in output for multiple toy companies especially during the last year, and most companies are only now getting back to close to normal output, (Including Hasbro, Mattel, Spinmaster). You're welcome to look that up, again Not Lip Service, Fact! Lanard has kept products in Walmart Even the 2 years where the Elite wasn't sold year round, Walmart sold the Corps! 4-Way assault in 2 seperate styles both in 2019, and last year. Plus Walmart Affiliate Sam's Club offered the Ultimate Assault Battle Back set and 2 Ultimate Collections in 2020 Sams also offered Ultimate Figure sets in 2019. I've been asked about Jurassic Clash/Primal Clash, and given fans Current links to shared online exclusive to Walmart dot com and Amazon. Fans have inquired about Star Troopers which first saw a limited release last year to test markets internationally, and larger orders expanded the line. Domestic partners will be announced After Hong Kong Toyfair. Fans have asked for upcoming information on the Corps! line, and While I cannot discuss what products are currently under development, I can say that Walmart will be one of many Domestic partners to carry Corps! products. After Hong Kong Toyfair and other partnerships are finalized and information is Cleared Fans will know what products and where to purchase domestically. I welcome questions, and I understand those who have wanted specific items to be more accessible, and Lanrd has been carefully expanding products to more accessible venues. Lanard Currently has Alien, and Predator Collection at Walmart, on Walmart dot com, you can still purchase the Jurassic Clash shared exclusives. More Product releases for Domestic Retailers will be announced After Hong Kong Toyfair. For more info on all CORPS!
