Couldn't agree more. Such talent and creativity. I love the personality given to each character as well. So much win in the whole thing. Actually looks very compatible with the Lanards own new web-comic.

Hmmm, looking at the comic and the skull design on the troopers I could sub them in as SKAR Infantry if I don't want to make up a true Curse army.

Apologies for the blurry pick. So it looks like Impact has a mask with Trolls hood. Really, he's kind of like the Reaper figure we've always wanted. I thought El Jefe would have Rains arms, but he didn't have the band on one of the arms in the comic. He does have it in the rendering. Actually, the torso reminds me of "Smash" from True Heroes. I hope Smoke doesn't have that Ogre sculpt below the face, but fear that's what it is. The Shrapnel paint is different from the rendering and the web-comic. Really looking forward to seeing the actual figures.

I think its safe to say that these new figures are going to be all new sculpts. At least that's the impression we've been given.
With regards to the comic... thanks for the kind words. Our studio members have all been in the local comic industry for over 10 years and I have worked with some US comic talent in the past so we do indeed know our way around making comics. Ultimately its up to Lanard if they want to explore an ongoing industry standard comic series outside of their in house webcomic. But I think that's also up to Corps fans to convince Lanard that their would be some sort of return on investment by exploring other forms of media for the Corps brand. It's high time the Corps stepped out of Joes shadow and established itself as a major new player in pop culture. I think the current team at Lanard creative are on a good path to doing this but they need to keep at it. (Oh did I mention I work in branding and marketing for my day job? Lol)

I absolutely believe they are truly stepping out to become their own product. They really want to be toys and not realistic collector items. They are becoming what Joes used to be in the toy/fun category. I hope they market themselves toward something bigger. They are slowly changing from being the knock off Joes to being their own product. I think stepping out with quality comics could catapult them.

Those six inch figures are great toys. I got a set a while back. Hope these take off with kids. They're a great value.

I just bought some Lanard stuff the other day. I rarely go to Walmart and we needed something last week so I went with my wife to recon the toy aisle. The new female figures are pretty decent quality, but their heads. Their giant freaking heads. I thought they would make cool swaps with the plentiful Lady Jaye bodies I have but, man, they look like giant melons.
