Has anybody picked these up yet? They look great, but I am curious about the build quality.

Quality is actually pretty low. My Wonder Woman's arm fell off without me even touching it. I carefully took her out of the package and was holding her by the leg and the arm just fell off. My Soloman Grundy and Green Arrow are ok. Deahstroke is ok, but way under sized. So far no problems with Raven, but she just seems really frail. If they could get the quality under control these would be great. Great sculpts and decent articulation.

----Here's the good.
1. Sculpt is good 2. Dc heroes in 3.75 scale. 3. Excellent range of motion. 4. Excessive knee articulation. You can fold a lot of the non hulk sized one's legs into a hotdog from a straight leg. 5. Excessive waist T bar articulation. They can bend forward (not special, most ball jointed figures can bend to a 90 degrees) and bend backward to extreme degrees (okay that is unique. ---Here's the bad. 1. Each figure costs $15 if you divide the original price of the comic pack by 2. And the amount of articulation is like marvel universe quality. With no or one accessories Ouch!!! 2. Quality control. Paint job sloppy. I expect more if each figure is $15. Brittle none-soft plastic, prone to breakage and fragile, makes hasbro soft plastic look high quality. 3. Uniformity. With Joes and other lines, you know what articulation you get per figure. With these guys, good luck. 4. Angling of arms makes it difficult to hold anything. Quite a few of the figures' arms don't bend at 90 degrees. If your figure has marvel universe style swivel biceps, you are double screwed, that makes it even harder to pose the arms the closer you get to the chest because the bicep gets in the way. 5. Hands. Pre-molded hands make it difficult to hold anything. The plastic in the hands will not form fit to items and accessories like hasbro's superior plastic, making grasping things difficult at this scale. 6. Head can barely move. Swivel waist has close to non-existent turning, instead you get T bar waist articulation that goes up and down 90 degrees in both directions. 7. For $15, no accessories, uh oh. --------- Well, there you go. Oh and its not apparent, but quite a few of the figures come with swivel arm and leg joints hidden in there alongside their double jointed knees and single jointed arms, you just won't know what type of swivel joint you'll get until you get the figure. Harley comes with I don't know what, but I know Superman comes with marvel universe style swivel biceps, yuck. So yeah, most of the figures can rotate their arms and legs like Joes, but beware what type of swivel they use to allow the motion differs drastically between figures. Ok I know these figures are bad in terms of quality so I've heard but I got 2 packs last week. Still didn't get them but I'm quite excited. I got them mostly for Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn.
Off course I payed something like $14 for each. Lack of accessories suck but working on it specially for Wonder Woman. Now my question will we see Batman. And I mean the first Batman the one they made in 6''. That along with Wonder Woman and Deathstroke were my favorite characters in the game. I didn't get Deathstroke because they did a poor job on him specially the head. Doesn't look that much like the character in the game. Back to Batman any news on having it? I read somewhere that probably we won't see it since the line is almost dead due to low sales. Hope they were wrong...

I only ask because they continue to release them even with low demand. It's not like they released all 6 packs or so all at once. There is even a pre-order for a Catwoman one already. This is what we have so far since March/April
- Green Arrow & Deathstroke - Wonder Woman & Solomon Grundy - The Flash & Raven - Nightwing & Superman - Cyborg & Harley Quinn - Aquaman & Black Adam - Doomsday & Catwoman (pre-order) Makes you wonder if this line is really that dead

If Dooms and Catwoman make it out that'll probably be the end of it. I saw Wonder Woman/Grundy on the shelf at Hastings and almost swore out loud. They totally missed the point of two pack pricing.
I'm more interested in the 4" DC movie line anyway. Bring those on! |

Some figures are better than others. I've been pleased with all the female figures, Harley,WW, and Raven, thus far. The male figures are more sporadic in terms of quality. Grundy is awesome. Deathstroke is a bit short, mine's ankles were fused due to paint, and I had to supply him with a lot of weapons to look the part of the ultimate assassin. Aquaman, Green Arrow, and Nightwing all look great, my only complaint is they don't hod their accessories well. Superman was a disappointment. Nice sculpt but lots of articulation problems. He looks good in my Superman collection which is pretty much display only, while DCIH Superman still resides on the play shelf.
