making the point there probably aren't that many "oldschool Kenner collectors"
is it possible those vintage figures are cheaper to buy than the new ones?

I guess it depends. The figures, maybe. But you'll probably be hard pressed to find a Batmobile w/Batman MiB for $20, like the Forever set (though the quality of the vintage ones are infinitely better by comparison).

Two weekends ago i got a brainiac skul super powers dingus thing from gamestop for 10.99. i had to go to south flawduh for work today and hit ross on the way home.

They had one super powers bug (blue beetle's vehicle). FOR 3.99!

i nearly shit myself because I've had this thing waiting on Amazon for 28 bucks. Now i either need to make my oring blue beetle finally or i need a super power one.

Holy shit.
