I wasn't planning on getting any McFarlane figures, but I can't pass up anything with Michael Keaton as Batman. I also preordered the Batman and Robin wave. Seeing those figures has gotten me dreaming about the possibilities...
Batman Forever wave: Batman, Robin, Riddler, Two-Face Batman Returns wave: Batman (movie accurate costume, not just a repaint), Catwoman, Penguin, Max Schreck Batman wave: Batman, Joker, Bruce Wayne, Jack Napier Batman '89 comic wave: Batman, Harvey Dent, Two-Face, Robin Batman Echoes comic wave: Batman, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Batgirl I'd also love Alfred and Commissioner Gordon, and since they were in all four films, they could come in any movie wave. |

No worries. Thank you. I might have to check that version out. I imagine you've seen this by now, too.
https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Produ...ils/259738?o=1 ![]() That's what gets me. I'm all for obscure comic-specific figures, but there's a reason the Movie Bats stuff has proven to be more difficult to get than Jim Gordon as Batman or Hush, who seem to multiply Gremlins-style at my local Walmart. I'd love some movie deep cuts. Bob the Goon and Lawrence the Boombox Guy would be day one buys for me. Hell, let's think about the future and get Lt. Eckhardt, too.

I actually hadn't. But, weirdest thing, it somehow wound up on my preorder list almost immediately after you posted the link. I don't know how these things manage to happen.

Snagged the Manta sub set off Prime for $13 and it's worth about that much. It's got some decent light/sound effects but it feels kinda cheap all over, with shoddy construction overall such as the seat canopy wobbling in the hinge and the tail fins/Manta trident being all rubbery and warped. But the real stinger of Spin's incompetence is that neither figure can even sit in the cockpit. Neither figure can bring their legs together to fit in the A-frame seat nor can they bring their thighs up enough into a sitting position to put their asses on the seat leather.
Fuck sakes, y'all. I don't expect perfection from any toy company but I do expect every toy company to fucking *try*. |

I almost ordered that but the buckle bugs the shit out of me. Why didn't they sculpt it with the strap going beneath the buckle?!
