The Kenner version had a hinged canopy-type roof and fit one larger 5-ish" figure, IIRC. The ToyBiz version was a convertible (lol), fit two and had the gear shift lever that pushed up the launchers. I actually really like the ToyBiz one (1:18 figures look alright in it), but I could never find the time to come up with a good canopy/roof for it.

I'm the same (I used Bale Batman heads from that Mattel 5POA line on mine). Anyway, past Spin Master toys have made head swaps difficult because they use a separate neck ball "dog bone"-type piece that plugs into a hole in the neck and extends down into the torso. You gotta really heat the heads up til they're super-soft or you'll snap that separate neck ball piece.

I preordered the Batman '66 Wayne Library and Batboat. I know they're supposed to be for the 6" figures, but I'll use them with 4" guys. The Batcave, Villains' Lair and Batmobile scale better with 4" so I'm sure these will follow suit. Anyway, this stuff rules! I'm a sucker for these sorts of throwback toys. McFarlane did a terrific job capturing a bygone era, not just for entertainment/television but for toys too.
