Damn cool toy. Great YouTube review, too. Very entertaining- I can't believe I watched the whole thing.

I am probably going to be one of the few to say this, but I don't really care for it that much. I didn't say I hated it, I don't. The worn-look of the paint is really good. But the design itself doesn't do it for me. It's not really a Transformer, and not really a Mech. And it doesn't really do either one of those well. The tank mode is very boxy. The mech mode just doesn't look like what I feel a mech should look like. The build quality does seem to be really good and has some nice features. Just not for me. And if the price really is $185, I think it is going to be tough to move a lot of them without an established history. (Meaning, someone can make $185 rubber Rancor poop and a Star Wars collector will buy it because it is Star Wars.)

Thanks for posting this, I saw pics of this a while ago but I couldn't remember where or what the line was called and I've been trying to figure it out since.

I was able to see one of these in person at BotCon. Very cool and lots of really neat features.

If I would buy any of these, it would be the vehicle with the fold-out walls. Then I would break down some months later and "complete" it with the box-tank trailer. Then about a year later, I would get the buggy because I might as well complete the set. It's a sickness.
I like the design of the buggy. I just don't like how it's too small for a figure to sit upright in it. $185 sounds about right. It is probably very fair and reasonable for something of this quality by a small company that isn't as vertically integrated as Hasbro and a much smaller addressable market with which to recoup development costs. Buuuuuut.... for $25 less, you can get an "overpriced" bbi Blackhawk. That's not a recommendation, that's just perspective. |

The fact it's 30-40 bucks more than it probably should be, well, they've got their reasons. |
