D, I kid you not brother, holding one in hand? That's EXACTLY what it looks like. The Stronghold is built so well; thick plastic, absolutely amazing paint job that really gives the look/feel of weathered paint and everything just snaps together in to place perfectly every time.
Since it's part of an overall modular theme, it's going to look BEAST with the other offerings that we posted images up of. Here are some more quick shots. Forgive the absolute crap quality, these are just quickies before I hand the piece off to Laird DESTRO for a proper photo review. |

To my understanding,. Ash, BBTS will be the primary distributor for the entire line. As I get more info on release dates and such, we'll post'em up here for sure :fistbump:

Wow. It looks inspired by Mechwarrior, but just better. The vehicle mode is a nice touch, but robot mode is the money.

I believe it may be in production as we speak. I'll keep you posted.
I would agree. I believe our team at BotCon 2013 saw them in hand and the ST-1 had a $180 price tag. I would personally say it's well worth it, as with this piece you are definitely getting what you pay for. It's by far a quality offering. |

I applaud these small toy companies putting out high-quality product. I don't think they'll succeed, but they're giving us more opportunities to buy cool stuff before the Toypocalypse arrives.
That's my justification for stretching what I'm willing to spend -- I just imagine a very near future where good toys cost more to produce than anyone is willing to spend on them and the only toys that are commercially viable are utter garbage. On that day, we'll be glad that something like this is in our collection. Having said that, I'm not all that interested in these particular items. I'd be much more interested if they were "clean". While I can appreciate the corroded look, I think it's going to get old, no pun intended. I'm not overly fascinated with the idea of a transforming Joe-scale vehicle, either. But they look cool. |

Keenan, the Stronghold is absolutely stunning. They did such an amazing job. The video posted on the front page is as close to perfect as you can get. From the paint to the sturdy "click" each piece makes, I'm sold on this line and will definitely be adding each piece to my collection.
