I only saw the Duck Dynasty figures once at Walmart. I do think they were not as cool as I thought the were. One figure I wouldn't mind seeing is Shelby Stanga from Axemen.

I guess if you buy a few, mod them a litle, you can always have a GI:Joe meets Deliverance diorama (no sane person would want to see.)
i never read this thread because i thought someone was asking if there was a chance of those shows getting a toyline. man, when i saw em at WM, i died a little. Rednecks in Walmart? fine. shopping in the toy aisle? ok. But on the pegs as action figures????

Jesus H. Christ, people complaining about having another compatible figure line in the scale we prefer.
It could be worse, they could be like those Bone Collectorfigures at Big Lots. |

Ok so what's the articulation like? Rocker Ankles? Hinge Wrists?
Looks like a twist waist. Someone said o-ring style neck. How's the plastic feel? |

Half an hour with a Dremel and the right bits and they can be given ankle and wrist articulation. The knee peg is considerably larger than standard, but switching in double knees may not be out of the realm of possibility. Hinge and swivel at the elbow, so the arms can move across the body.
Neck is OG13 style. Side-to-side swivel. The torso plastic sounds a little hollow. If these didn't have a back screw cracking the torso successfully would be nigh impossible. All in all they're better value at 5 bucks than most 4" figures that are running twice that. Last edited by Konigstiger; 09-11-2013 at 08:39 AM.. |
