At first I hated C.O.P.S. Because I remember it taking GI Joe's spot after school. But I saw it was from Hasbro, so I gave it a shot, and it was okay. As a kid, Bulletproof as the leader was really something cool. The show's designs were really different too. Years later, I read Peter Chung (Aeon Flux) did character designs...you can really see it in Miss Demeanor's facial features.

I didn't really get into the toys, namely because they were so damn big (at least back in the day they were). I regret that now, as I really like the designs...though some of the names are just terrible...Buttons McBoomBoom? Heh.

I'd love to do some customs of these...I've been eyeballing Alyoshas' Sundance for a year now

this is a concept that I loved but thought executed poorely

had it been aimed at a little older age group like the JOES the cartoon been more serious as well as the comic it would have been better I think

on a side note, Shout factory is now taking pre-orders for the 2nd part of the series on thier website, its a web exclusive i believe

general hawk arent you the man to talk about on that site?

Loved this toy line! My favorite figure was never in the cartoon. His name was Powder Keg. He was the bomb squad guy and had removable armor that made him look awesome!

I had the fat guy with the metal hand and the dome-headed Scientist. I decided to "freeze" the brain guy in a mixture of jello and what ever other chemicals i poured into the tupperware container. When i got back to it, it had been a few weeks and I almost threw up from the smell. I remember tossing it off the deck and never looking back. I ended up using the metal hand guy as Kingpin after I started buying the first series of Marvel Universe cards.

I had the Dragster and Roadster with Turbo Tutone and one other figure... I loved that series!

OMG do you mean the "Fighting Crime in a Future Time!" C.O.P.S.???? Those were bad ass. Weren't there some ties to GIJOE in there as well? Like Beachhead's son or something like that?
