I hope I lived up to your spam expectations.
I have aquired most of the pieces I need (until the BT Deltas come out) and will begin on the environment soon. The entire window box will look like a shoebox dio from grade school. I need asphalt, mountains, sky and a ton of airbrushing to complete this. Then I'll start weathering the vehicles like this: Last edited by pcsguy88; 03-01-2009 at 12:53 AM.. |

Are those SF guys extracting the "package" from inside the Kiowa I hope?
Nice Dio.. how do you do the weathering? I wish I had the space to make something that big.

I learned how to weather from a guy's site Cody's Coop - Modeling, Garage Kits, Anime & Mecha by Cody Kwok This site is not safe for work. He takes you step by step thru weathering mecha, which also works well for armor. I am horrible at weathering aircraft, but will be working on it once it's warm enough to use the airbrush.

Also.. I should mention again, the 21st Century Humvee's are awesome but they ARE NOT TOYS. By almost any stretch. Its the only downside, I feel like I need to baby them because they feel so fragile. Not glass fragile, but close.
but they look damn realistic!

I take the TOW off and let my 3yr old daughter play with it and my bbi Super Humvee. It is the most durable vehicle I've gotten from 21C. Only the Bravo Bradley and Abrams hold up better to her abuse.

PCS, so are you abandoning Joe'dom for FOV soldiers? I like the looks, but the articulation (lack of) kills me. I have a whole bucket of them figures.
I like Joes for the filecards (backstories) and the figure design, I toss the guns out the window when I open up the pack
