Adventure People ruled. My brother and I had tons, until SW and then Joe came around. I remember using some of the vehicles and accessories with my Joes, even. I had that "X-Ray Man", he was one of my favorites along with the Deep Sea Diver with octopus and treasure chest, the single prop stunt plane and pilot, and the experimental race car and space-age looking driver. If I had unlimited funds and space, I'd start re-collecting these right away.

My sister had X-Ray Woman and she was rad! She frequently found her way into our Joe battles. I may have to track down the two "X-Ray" figures...

Have you guys checked out the "Adventure wheels" line at Wal mart? They have some good 1/18thish civy gear like tool boxes and ATVs, ( The remote control ones are tits). I could swear one of the guys uses the old Repeater V1 headsculpt. Anyway, they have similar guys in tan and green and blue and red duds. So in my Joe 'verse, they are Dynecorp international contractors who service both Joe ( Tan and green) and Cobra (red and blue) materiel mantenence contracts and play both sides of the fight. ( anyone familiar with that company will get the joke). Heres a Tanker thread on them... http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...s-walmart.html and here is an amazon link to the guy I think uses repeaters headsculpt. Amazon.com: Adventure Wheels Outdoor Adventure 13 Piece Boating Accessory Pack: Toys & Games I picked these up for my son about the same time I started playinh Joes again...and had a whole session played out where Frostbite goes to Repeaters Civy job at Dyne corp and trys to recruit him back into the reformed team but only ended up negotiating a service contract for J.O.E.s munitions and motor pool service, that Hawk Later approved. The boy had a lot of fun driving out to find Repeater at his camp site, Going fishing with Frostbite, telling stories about old joe verse adventures they had had together, and Repeater finally just breaking the news to Frosty that hot firing conflict just wasnt in his cards at this point in his life. "But hey man I would be glad to sell you some servicing contracts!" Last edited by WarinThefloor; 04-04-2013 at 01:17 PM.. Reason: cleanup on aisle typo |

...and I spray a lot of the stuff packed in those assortments Hosta green and use it in the background of my joe FOBs. But hell I use the caps from my hosta green rattlecans as engine cans ( Guys who have served know what I am talking about, the containers they ship engines, trannies, gearboxes ect to and from depot, hanger, FOB ect in, Dept of Army sprays em all standard olive drab)
Looks pretty cool, they have chairs, tables, lanterns, I even did one fishing rod Hasta green as sort of a joke and generally in an armor column one of my vehicle oporators will be carrying it as sort of a silly easter egg, Usually POC Hawk riding top seat on a HAVOC. They also have a lot of dogs, I have picked up every set I have found with a dog in it, because I always Imagined Mutt trained more service dogs than just Junkyard, bomb sniffers, ect. And now lots of my Joes have pets. |

I had a ton of those. Still have some. Some day I would like to rebuild my collection. I always hoped they would release them again in an anniversary line or something.

I wish I woulda jumped on this sooner I had the racecar with driver and mechanic for a long time and traded it in at a local toy store called the toy box. He gave me a good deal on it and I'm sure sold it instantly to someone who collected em.

I always loved the TV news crew with the van and camera you could look through. The news woman looked just like a local news woman here when I was a kid.
